With just a few days left for Rajinikanth's Sivaji (tentatively planned for 17 May), the hype and expectations are touching all-time high for the movie. Director Shankar is confident that Sivaji would be a movie to cherish in Indian film industry. One of the costliest movies to have been made in Indian screen, Sivaji has brought together the likes of AVM, Rajinikanth, Shankar and A R Rahman. According to Shankar, 'It is a movie that would certainly satisfy Rajini-fans. A typical Rajinikanth film, the movie would be a treat for them'. 'The highlight of the movie is that for the first time, we have shot a song sequence (Shana) in huge sets put up on glass. It was a challenging task to shoot the song since the lights would be reflected on the glass. All credit to cinematographer K V Anand for achieving the impossible.' In a nutshell, the movie is about a man, who wants to do good for the society. The hurdles that he comes across in accomplishing his mission. But is inter spread with gaiety, grandeur and splendor.
'Bheemaa' ready to rock the US
'Bheemaa', one of the most anticipated movies in recent times is all set to rock the USA. Bharath Creations has acquired the distribution rights. The film is opening with 10 prints in 10 major centers in the United States. While the Tamil version will hit the screens on 15th itself, the Telugu version will be released after a few days. The business in all the centers has been brisk. The business for almost all the centers has been closed. Vikram has a wide and strong market in US. The long wait for the movie has triggered the expectations. The fact that Vikram is returning to the screens after a two year hiatus has only increased the expectations even further. The reception to 'Bheemaa' in the US is second only to Rajinikanth's 'Sivaji'. The movie is directed by Lingusamy, known for making action movies entwined with genuine emotional quotient. The movie has a strong star cast with the likes of Vikram, Trisha, Prakash Raj, Raghuvaran, and Ashish Vidyarthi. It also has excellent music track by Harris Jayaraj, spectacular camera work by R.D. Rajasekar, and awesome stunt scenes by Kanal Kannan to captivate the audience. Bharath Creations has earlier successfully distributed blockbusters like 'Anniyan', 'Chandramukhi', 'Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu' and 'Sivaji', to name a few. Kohli & Rahman rock the dance floor!
Indian Test Skipper Virat Kohli and Oscar Winner AR Rahman collaborated for the official Video Anthem of Premier Fustal League. Rahman himself shared the anthem titled as 'Naam Hai Fustal' on his Twitter account. Speciality of Premier Fustal League Anthem would be…Kohli lent his voice for it & shaked his leg with AR Rahman. This is for the first time ever AR Rahman associated with a franchise-based Sports League in the Country. The role played by Virat Kohli, who is the brand ambassador of Premier Futsal League, made it even special.
The Rock's displeasure with Vin Diesel continues
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has completed shooting his portions for ‘Fast 8’ and took to social media to thank the production crew. Apart from the director F. Gary Gray, he has mentioned only three of his costar’s Scott Eastwood, Tyrese Gibson and Natalie Emmanuel. As we had reported earlier The Rock had shown his displeasure about his male co-stars without mentioning names which later confirmed to be Vin Diesel. Though it was said the two action heroes had reconciled Johnson not mentioning Diesel in his post suggests that all is still not well with them.
