In its 5th week, Darshan-starrer Bulbul is set to become a bigger hit than Sarathi and Kranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna. By the end of week 5, its collection, according to industry will match the overall collection of the other two films. The film is already in profit and entered the profit mode in the second week itself. The film is running in around 130 theatres now. Out of this, 50 theatres are those in which the film released on May 10. It is likely to complete 50 days run in about 35 theatres. The film has been a sensational hit in Mandya-Mysore-Hassan and Shimoga, where it is the biggest Kannada hit. In North Karnataka and Mangalore, the film is comparatively lower with the box office collection about 60 per cent. This is however much higher than most films in the 5th week.
Run Antony Releasing On July 1
Vinay Rajkumar's most expected thriller Run Antony is gearing up for a grand release on July 1, throughout the state. This is Vinay Rajkumar's second outing after his debut Siddharth. Raghu Shastry is making his debut through this movie, and he has worked on the story and screenplay as well. He has worked as an associate director for a few big names in Bollywood and his narration impressed Raghavendra Rajkumar in the first go itself. Raghu Shastry, has also penned lyrics for a few movies including Pawan Kumar's Lucia, in the past. Music composed by Manikanth Kadri was released to the market recently, through Anand Audio and a few songs were liked by music lovers. The song sung by Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar has been given a thumbs up apart from the melody song. The lyrics are penned by Dr V Nagendra Prasad, Jayanth Kaikini and director Raghu Shastry. The teaser that was released last month, along withe the music album have already raised expectations of the audience. Trade pundits expect this movie to do the same what movies like U Turn,Thithi, Godhi Banna Sadharna Mykattu and Karvva did in the last month. Team has already kick-started the promotional campaign through all the mediums. #IRunAway Video campaign on social media is big hit and stars like Puneeth Rajkumar, Jaggesh, Radhika Pandit, Prajwal Devaraj, Su Ni and many others have posted their videos on social media and wished success for the team. Smt Dr. Parvathamma Rajkumar, Raghavendra Rajkumar and Guru Rajkumar are producing the flick under their banner Sri Vajreshwari Hospitalities. Manohar Joshi and Karm Chawla are the directors of photography. Esham Khan and Haseen Khan are the editors. The movie may be released through Vajreshwari banner, which has distributed a number of blockbusters in the past. The movie has to face stiff competition from Ganesh and Radhika Pandit's Zoom and Vijay Raghavendra-Nidhi Subbaiah's Nanna Ninna Premakathe which is scheduled for release on same date.
Crisp Run Time to benefit Supreme
'Supreme' passed the Censor test with an 'U/A' Certificate and the film is gearing up for grand release on May 5th. The Censor Certificate doing rounds on social media is spreading the positive vibe already. With a crisp run time of 142 minutes, 'Supreme' guarantees a paisa vasool entertainment. Most of the noted films released in the past one year have been released with an run time of more than 150 minutes. On most occasions, Audience complained those film would have fared well if trimming was perfect. 'Supreme' mayn't face such criticism as Makers made sure there was no lag what-so-ever. Dil Raju & Co. were confident of regaining lost glory with 'Supreme' success. The seasoned producer will be releasing the movie in Nizam & Vizag on his own hoping it will be a money spinner.
Good films run, not Khans and Kumars - Akshay...
Don't expect diplomatic statements with a feel good factor embedded in from Akshay Kumar. On being recently quizzed whether Akshay Kumar's mere presence in a film read a good success story in the making, he said pretty much matter of fact that "Good films, good story and good scripts run and not Khans, Kumars or anyone else!" Coming from the same man who has a string of hits behind him today and is now firmly placed amongst the Top 5 paid actors in the country, Akshay Kumar still doesn't stray away from being at his modest and jovial best

Akshaye Khanna set to run away with the show in SEI
When 'Salaam E Ishq' was in the making, all must have thought that the film would have Salman Khan hogging all the limelight and glory. But with the latest promos of the film being out, it appears that Akshaye Khanna would be the young man who may eventually run away with the honors! With numerous witty lines belonging to his character named Shiven who is a nice man to be with but has only one problem in life, commitment to marriage, it seems quite obvious that Akshaye would bring the house down every time he appears on screen. Paired opposite Ayesha Takia again after 'Shaadi Se Pehle', one looks forward to another spirited performance by Akshaye Khanna after '36 China Town' and 'Aap Ki Khatir' that came last year.
