Remember her light-eyed father Aditya Pancholi who did a couple of good films. Her mother Zarina Wahab was an amazingly talented actress and was recently seen in a TV series in a longish role. Its time now to see the offspring of these two actors make her on screen debut. Sana Pancholi will soon make her debut on the silver screen with Direct Dil Se. Vivek Vasawani is making the film. She is making her acting debut opposite VJ Ranvijay. The film will be shot in London and will be directed by debutant director Nishant Goyal. Sana has just completed with her HSC exams. She is quite keen on pursuing acting as a career though at a point the thought swindled a bit. But now she is very sure that she will take up films. Sana is a kathak-trained dancer and she has great knowledge of film dancing. Her parents also approve of her choice of her career. Sana's character in the film is that of the only Indian girl in a London University. It is known to be a sweet romantic comedy. This film happened by chance. The director happened to see her pictures, met her and finalized her for the role. She is quite nervous about facing the camera. The film is produced by Vivek Vaswani and Motion Pictures Partners International, UK.
Sana Khan faints on the sets of 'Wajah Tum Ho'
Sana Khan has been under the weather, but yet shooting for Vishal Pandya’s film, Wajah Tum Ho. The actress had been feeling nauseous and even fainted on the set of the film over the weekend. Along with co-stars, Sharman Joshi and Gurmeet Chaudhary, the unit has been shooting at a studio in Malwani. Yesterday, the actress wrapped up the shoot by afternoon and headed home.
Biopic on Saina is story of 'tigress beti': Amol Gupte
Filmmaker Amol Gupte, who is making a film on Indian badminton champion Saina Nehwal, says that the biopic is different as it is the story of a “tigress beti”. Front Foot Pictures Pvt Ltd, a content creation company, has acquired the rights to make a biopic on Saina, and acclaimed writer-actor-director Gupte has been roped to direct the much-awaited film. Front Foot Pictures Pvt Ltd co-director Sujay Jairaj says that this movie will "boost the entire country". "It’s going to be a very inspirational story, which will boost the entire country. It is a story of a current sports star and so both the younger and the older generation can relate to it,” he said in a statement. Noting the biopic is going to trace the journey of the first Indian to win a medal in Badminton at the Olympics, Gupte said: “This film is going to trace Saina’s pulsating journey on her way to the top of the sports pyramid.” Stating how different the film is going to be from the biopics that have been made till date, be it “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” on national champion runner Milkha Singh or “Mary Kom” which was based on five time World amateur boxing champion Mangte Chungneijang Mary Kom. "How many times have we encountered either a male or a female Indian get prime ranking in a world sport? None - except Saina Nehwal. That makes it different, doesn’t it? It’s a story of a 'tigress beti', 'princess beti' who has set fire to the badminton court with her prowess like no one else before,” Gupte said. “The nation needs to know the story of the 'World number 1 beti’- an icon for the young and the old, for a long time to come,” he added.

Although none of them confirmed the news, Saina would be more than happy with World-famous actress like Dippy signs her biopic. Deepika Padukone 'would love' to play Saina Nehwal onscreen
She is a daughter of celebrated badminton player Prakash Padukone, and has herself shown how to handle the racquet in the court with perfection. Now, actress Deepika Padukone says she would love to essay role of badminton ace player Saina Nehwal on the silver screen. "I would love to play Saina onscreen. We have played together in fact and obviously she was way better .. She also said to me 'good' also. We had fun time... Of course anything for the love of sports specially if it is badminton," Deepika said at an event here. The actress spoke about her inclination towards bringing the life of the sportsperson alive on the sliver screen at an event here. She was in the national capital on Tuesday to attend NDTV Indian Of The Year 2015 ceremony. Saina, who got the Sportsperson Of The Year award at the ceremony, shared her wish to see Deepika bringing herA life on the camera in the forthcoming biopic through a live video chat. When asked about her preference, she said: "Of course Deepika Padukone. She used to play badminton. Her father was a badminton player. I think she would do good justice to the role. I wish she could do the role." Filmmaker Amol Gupte is making a film on the Indian badminton champion. Meanwhile, Saina shared the award with tennis champion Sania Mirza.
Shahid Kapoor, a big Saina Nehwal fan
Actor Shahid Kapoor says he is a "big fan" of Indian badminton star Saina Nehwal. Nehwal lauded Shahid's character in "Udta Punjab" by tweeting: "Great work Tommy Singh what a movie loved it 'Udta Punjab'." To that, Shahid replied saying: "Hey Saina thanks so much. (I) am a big fan, so this makes my day."
