More news →'Khatarnak' cans song at Sarathi Studios
Raviteja, who gave a big hit like 'Vikramarkudu' is playing the title role in 'Khatarnak', directed by 'Amma' Rajasekhar, who has a successful film like 'Ranam' to his credit. The film is being produced by BVN Prasad, who had produced a hit film like 'Chatrapati'. Another speciality is that Ileana, who won the hearts of the Telugu audiences with her sizzling beauty through films like 'Devadasu' and 'Pokiri' is pairing up with Raviteja as female lead. Presently a song is being choreographed on the hero and heroine in a huge set built in the local Sarathi Studios. MM Keeravani is providing melodious tunes to the film songs. It was planned to release the audio of 'Khatarnak' in November and the film on December 1. We have to wait and watch what kind of steps the choreographer turned director Amma Rajasekhar composed for the song.
'Okka Magaadu' shoots in Sarathi studios
The shooting of 'Okka Magaadu' directed and produced by YVS Choudary on the banner of Bommarillu with Yuva Ratna Nandamuri Balakrishna, Anushka and Nisha Kothari in the lead is progressing at a fast pace in Hyderabad. It may be recalled here that the family entertainer had held shooting in various places in Rayalaseema region some time ago. Presently, a song is being canned on Balakrishna, Anushka and Nisha Kothari at a specially erected huge set in Sarathi Studios. After the completion of the present schedule, the unit would leave for Australia to can some important scenes. The next schedule would be held in and around Rajahmundry and its surrounding areas. According to sources from Film Nagar, Balakrishna is doing a dual role as grandfather and grandson, after Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Heroine Simran is doing a powerful role in this movie. Manisharma gave fantastic tunes for this flick. Director cum producer YVS Choudary says, 'The film would reach the expectations of the mega fans of the Nandamuri clan.'
'Raju Bhai' shooting in progress at Sarathi
The shooting of 'Raju Bhai' directed by Suryakiron and produced by Dr M Mohanbabu on the banner of Sri Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures, with Manoj, of 'Donga-Dongadi'-fame and son of Mohanbabu as hero, and Sheela of 'Sitakokachiluka'-fame as heroine, is progressing well at Sarathi Studios in Hyderabad on a fast pace. Presently some key scenes are being shot there. It is well aware that a song was choreographed on noted comedian Sunil for this film. The producer is making efforts to complete all the formalities soon and release the film as a summer gift.
Sarath planning it out
Close on the heels of Rajinikanth, who let his fans decide to whom to cast their votes in the forthcoming elections in the State, actor and DMK MP Sarath Kumar had convened a meeting of his fans from various parts of the State to hold discussions with them on the poll strategy. They had met and decided on the future course of action by the actor. Sarath Kumar is believed to be sidelined by the party command for various reasons of alleged omission and commission. Sarath, who angled for a party ticket, didn't get it. Though officially he has not spoken anything against the party powers, those in the know confirm that he is indeed miffed and is on a sulk. Office-bearers of his fans association have openly said Sarath Kumar has been sidelined and the coming days will decide what course of action the actor is going to take.
Sarath quits DMK
Noted actor and DMK Rajya Sabha MP Sarath Kumar has quit from DMK. Rumors have been floating around in political circles for the past few days that Sarath Kumar would quit the party. On Monday, the actor chose to quit from the primary membership of the party formally. In a letter to the DMK president M Karunanidhi, he said he was resigning as his work for the party went unrecognized. 'I am taking this decision with a heavy heart'. Sarath Kumar resigned from primary membership of the DMK. At the recently held Sarath Fans Association conference at Tirunelveli, his fans reportedly demanded more rights for the Nadar community. Meanwhile he convened a meeting of his fans to know about their sentiments last week.
Sarath takes wings
Close on the heels of quitting from DMK, Sarath Kumar has flown to Singapore. When everyone is eagerly awaiting his next movie, Sarath Kumar is silently off to abroad to be part of a grand event being organized by Radhika Sarath Kumar's Radaan Televisions there to celebrate the 300th episode of their mega-serial Selvi on air in Sun TV. Singers like the new flavor of Tamil Nadu Gana Ulaganathan and a host of dancers would take part in the celebrations besides the cast and crew of Selvi. Sarath Kumar's 100th film Thalaimagan is being produced by his wife Radhika as part of her Radaan Media, in which Sarath Kumar is one of the directors.
