After beginning her first promotional tour for her new album 'Dard-e-Sherlyn' and charming fans at Kolkata and Hyderabad, the 'outrageous' singer and actress Sherlyn Chopra made an appearance at Club Voodoo in Chandigarh this week. But what surprised everyone is that Sherlyn who had a tight security of eight bouncers besides the stage and four civil-dress security men in the audience in Kolkata as well as Hyderabad, refused any in Chandigarh. "Sherlyn told me she refused security as she felt safe in the company of robust Sardars whom she considers very gentlemanly people," informed her publicist Dale Bhagwagar. "She also admires Sardars as she believes they have the best physiques in our country," he added. It can be recalled that Sherlyn's show organisers had panicked earlier about the bold and flamboyant girl wearing her bikini top along with her golden hot pants that she has famously worn in the new superhit video of her remix album. Apart from expecting trouble from unruly crowds due to the skimpy attire, the organisers had felt it was very risky for her to wear the bikini top as it is actually studded with a couple of real diamonds on the sides. Inspite of being half-Persian and half-Christian, Sherlyn mysteriously carries a Punjabi surname ' Chopra. Wonder if her trust in Sardars has anything to do with that! When asked about Sherlyn's fixation with bikinis, Bhagwagar retorted, "If Sherlyn had her way, she would even die wearing a bikini"! Following Calcutta, Hyderabad and Chandigarh, Sherlyn will continue her tour with appearances at Mumbai, Delhi, Pune and Vizag. After the runaway success of her first album 'Outrageous' on T-Series, Sherlyn emerged a diva, out to make men go weak in their knees. The second album 'Dard-e-Sherlyn' is her tribute to the original dreamgirl Hema Malini and takes off from her 1976 hit song "Mujhe dard rehta hai, dil mein dard rehta hai'" from the film 'Dus Numbri'. But the "Dard-e-Sherlyn" video has already attracted 19 cuts from the Censor Board and also invited the ire of Hema Malini. The new remix video is already out on all music channels. The firebrand is heavily promoting her two remixes of the "Dard-e-Sherlyn" title track by DJs Akbar Sami and Pramz, while donning her controversial trademark diamond-studded bikini top for all her appearances.

Sardar Chinnapa Reddy shooting in brisk pace
The shooting of 'Sardar Chinnapa Reddy', presented by Mahbubnagar MP, AP Jitender Reddy and produced by Satya on the banner of Pavan Mani Creations is going on at a brisk pace. The film is based on real life incidents and the producer had donated clothes, food to a total of 10,000 people as part of the reel life which remained a reality in the real life as well. Bullock cart races were also held really as part of the shooting. These incidents would remain a highlight in the film, says the producer. Saikiran and Seema are playing the lead in the film, while Anurag is providing music. SS Reddy is the executive director for the film.
'Sardar Papanna' DVD launched
Directed by Pratani Ramakrishna Goud, 'Sardar Papanna' was produced by Panjala Samanta on the banner of Jaihind Pictures, with Super Star, Nata Sekhara Krishna, Suman and Jaihind Reddy in the lead. Noted artiste Ramireddy received the first DVD of the film from the popular director P Chandrasekhara Reddy at Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber on August 18, which was released into the market. Vandemataram Srinivas scored music for the movie. Later, addressing the media, Jaihind Reddy says, 'I will soon launch a film 'Supreme India' under the direction of P Chandrasekhar Reddy introducing my son Sravankumar as hero.'

Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Sardar Gabbar Singh is slated for spectacular release tomorrow. Fans and movie lovers are getting ready to celebrated Ugadi in style watching the film. Makers have alerted the police about the film leakage and they started raiding CD shops. They already took some suspicious people into custody and booked them under bind over. Though the news not confirmed officially fans already started worrying on this.With this Pawan's fans reminded of the leak and piracy drama that gave tough time for makers before release of Pawan's earlier movie Attarintiki Daredi.
Sardar First Week Collections
Pawan Kalyan's "Sardaar Gabbar Singh" has taken box-office by storm on its opening day. But the collections have seen huge drop thereafter. The film has completed first week run and it is estimated to have collected Rs 36.79 crore at the AP/TS box office in seven days The movie has collected impressive collections on paper in its opening week but these don't bring any cheers to the distributors. The film has not reached break even in any area. Even if it touches Rs 50Cr share in its entire run, it will end up as a losing proposition. Meanwhile the movie is estimated to have earned a share of Rs 52 crore in the first week.
