More news →Sarkar Raj retouched?
It was all decided that Sarkar Raj will see light come May. But if the reports doing the rounds in Bollywood circles are to be believed then the film's release is likely to be postponed yet again. It is reported that this time the film is being delayed because Big B wants a few scenes in the film to be retouched. The film was delayed till May because the Bachchans wanted 'Jodhaa Akbar' to be their bahu's first release after marriage and this time Bachchan senior wants to retouch a few scenes involving him and his son. It is said that Amitabh wants to be very careful this time around because this is the first film for Abhishek after his marriage. We are not very sure what the director RGV has taken of this idea of redoing. It is said that he is quite happy with how the film has shaped up and does not want to implement anymore changes in the film. It is said that Big B has even given some of his dates in February to the director. With the Bachchan senior having one plan and the director of the film having another we are unaware as to how long this project will stall. Sarkar Raj is a sequel of the earlier released 'Sarkar' which will see Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles. Now this film seems like one family affair doesn't it?

Pradeep Sarkar directs Palash Sen
Parineeta director Pradeep Sarkar continues to be a busy man. While work on his new film has still to begun, he continues to make his presence felt in the showbiz world with directing advertisements and music videos. The latest music video to hit the screens is for the music album 'Mehfuz' from the band Euphoria. The song on air is the title song 'Mehfuz', a sensitive number about love and separation that has been picturised on Palash Sen. Class, just as in case of 'Parineeta', is pretty evident in this beautifully shot number too, that has come a little late in the day as the album finds itself slipping a little in the charts. Hope this number is promoted well and brings the album all the popularity it richly deserves.
Vidya-Abhishek in Pradeep Sarkar's next for Yashraj films
Vidya Balan may have taken critics across award organizations by her performance in Parineeta. She swept awards for her debut at Filmfare and Zee Cine Awards. Good news for her fans comes as she will soon be working with Pradeep Sarkar and heart throb Abhishek Bachchan on the next Yashraj film. The actress is on the most wanted list of the industry today. Sarkar was recently approached by the King Of Romance yash Chopra to make a film for his banner where Sarkar wants Balan and Bachchan junior to lead. Recently Sarkar had worked with Abhishek on a commercial where he seems to have discussed the idea and Abhishek seems to have liked it too. Yash Chopra is also keen on casting Balan for the lead. Sarkar has not spoken much about this in media as he is still scripting the film and it will be too early to talk about the project. Sarkar denies shelving his adaptation of Bankim Chandra novel Devi Chaudhrani. He is sure to make it sometime in future most probably with Vidya in the lead.
Amitabh Bachchan: 'Sarkar 3' will start soon
Amitabh Bachchan will soon be reuniting with Ram Gopal Varma for the third instalment of 'Sarkar'. Big B was quoted as saying in a report in The Indian Express, "I am in talks with Ramu for 'Sarkar 3'. We are going to sit for a story narration and very soon the project should start." The actor also denied about having a fallout with Varma. He was quoted as saying, "Earlier I thought it was with Hrishikesh Mukherjee that I have done maximum movies with. But when I sat down to count, it was not Hrishida but Ramu. There have never been any differences between us." 'Sarkar' released in 2005 and had Bachchan playing Subhash 'Sarkar' Nagre, a role reportedly inspired by late Shiv Sena supremo, Balasaheb Thackeray . Abhishek played his son in the movie. The second instalment of the film also saw Bachchan bahu Aishwarya playing a pivotal role. 'Sarkar 3' will be shot in Mumbai and London
