What Happened to These Seniors with Chiranjeevi?
Some days ago, then top novelist Yandamuri Veerendranadh made derogatory comments on Mega Power Star Ram Charan. Wonder what, this noted motivation speaker, appeared to have desperately in a need of counselling of another motivational speaker owing to his comments on a crazy star hero. And the other day, then top director Kodandarami Reddy, came down heavily on Megastar Chiranjeevi doing a social message film. Co-incidentally, both KRR and Yandamuri were close aides of Chiranjeevi in 80s and early 90s and worked for many films. But then, what prompted both KRR and Yandamuri criticizing mega family? According to the observers, there is a psychological reason behind the strange behaviours of KRR and Yandamuri. The people who reach pinnacle of their careers in their youth, will, obviously, lose all those charisma in their later ages. And of course, KRR and Yandamuri are no more different for this notion. In contrast, Chiranjeevi, is still maintaining superstardom may it be due to the success of all of his family members or is he coming back to Tollywood with a great force with 'Kathilantodu'. This factor, maybe, prompted then writer and director's strange anger on Chiranjeevi.

Senior players don’t want to be second best
Kings XI Punjab skipper Kumara Sangakkara is not surprised that Sachin Tendulkar, Jacques Kallis, Mathew Hayden, Shane Warne and Anil Kumble, have outclassed many youngsters in the Indian Premier League (IPL), as he says that senior players are never satisfied being the second best. “They all are very experienced players with solid records. They have played for so long and also if you see their contribution towards the game they have made a lot of runs and took many wickets,” said Sangakkara here Friday evening. “Like Anil Kumble and Muttiah Muralitharan are amazing. It’s true that old habits die hard. They just don’t want to be the second best and are performing consistently. But yes, youngsters are also learning many things from them.” So far in the IPL-III, Kings XI Punjab are tottering at the last spot with only two wins in their 10 matches. However, Sangakkara is still optimistic and feels that he has got a good team. “I am happy with my team and I have got a great side in the form of Kings XI Punjab,” he pointed out. Kings XI Punjab play Mumbai Indians, the table toppers in the IPL, at the Punjab Cricket Association (PCA) stadium Friday evening.
