More news →'Shiva' is simply heart stopping
After having a look at the sneak preview of Ram Gopal Verma's upcoming release 'Shiva', the only term that comes to mind to describe the flick is - HEARTSTOPPING. It won't be an understatement to say that the violence in the movie is much more horrifying than even those horror films that come from FACTORY. Gruesome, dark but real - the violence in the film is heavily disturbing and makes even the steel hearted melt. Especially terrifying is the opening scene of the promo that shows a rowdy hit a nail on a person while other goons surrounding him blindfold him so that he doesn't see his end coming. Starring the 'James' pair of Mohit Ahlawat and Nisha Kothari, the dialogues, treatment and shot execution are true in RGV style and make one nostalgic about the vintage director's touch!
Shiamak Davar in the thick of Bollywood choreography
'Crazy Kiya Re' may be the talk of the nation but guess which song has overtaken it in a big way during last fortnight? 'Dhoom Again' picturised on Hrithik in a solo and then with both Hrithik and Ash when the end credits roll. The person who has made the dance moves so special? Shiamak Davar! Known for his unusual dance steps and some real grandeur treatment, Shiamak has been associated with the Chopras since 'Dil To Paagal Hai' days when he choreographed the still-popular 'Le Gayi Le Gayi'. Later his choreography for songs in 'Taal' and 'Bunty Aur Babli' made many stand up and take notice. Soon his work would also be seen in films like 'I See You' where he has gone in for a different mood of choreography altogether. Currently on air, the song 'Subah Subah' picturised on Arjun Rampal is a road number with Arjun Rampal casually strolling across the streets and humming along the song.
Shivaji' inspires 'Golmaal Returns'
People who have seen the clippings of the song 'Karke' from the forthcoming film 'Golmaal Returns' and also a particular song titled 'athiradee' from Tamil Superstar Rajnikant's super hit film 'Sivaji' directed by Shankar will find a great deal of similarity in the style of visualization as well as the sets used in the songs. This striking similarity did not happen like a coincidence but was deliberately planned. Rohit Shetty, the director of 'Golmal Returns' was shooting the movie 'Sunday' in Hyderabad when he decided to just go and see the shooting of 'Shivaji'. He was very impressed by the sets of the Tamil song and thought of using the same style and design as there was a space for a song of a same kind in 'Golmaal Returns'. The song is touted to be one of the highlights of the film because of its lavish sets, a big star cast, a large number of dancers and a combination of dance and action. Shot in a studio in Mumbai at a mind blowing budget of Rs.6 crores and having 1000 dancers and fighters, "Karke" is choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. The stars of the film toiled hard for 12 days to complete the shooting of the track.
'Shivam' to have a grand audio launch
Devi Sri Prasad is ready with yet another rocking album. The audio of Ram's 'Shivam', composed by him will be launched on 12th of September and the event is going to be a grand affair with top notch celebs from the industry attending it. The audio will be released into the market through Aditya music. DSP earlier gave super hit albums 'Jagadam' and 'Ready' for the 'Pandaga Chesko' actor and so the songs in the new film are awaited. The first look posters of 'Shivam' released a couple of days back got a very good response. Ram and Raashi Khanna look very good as a pair. Sreenivasa Reddy is the director and 'Sravanthi' Ravikishore is the producer of this film.

Raashi Khanna is the female lead and Sravanthi Ravi Kishore is the producer of this film. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director. This film with the tagline "High Voltage Love Story" will be released on October 2nd.
Jyotsna's son named Shivam
Ace singer Jyotsna had given birth to a baby boy during the last week of July. A month is past and the singer seems to be enjoying her motherhood. She shared the joy of motherhood with everyone. Jyotsna also shared that she has named her son and that he will be called Shivam. She seems to be in sync with this phase in her life.
