Destroying all the talk of she being thrown out of Shah Rukh Khan's Temptations Reloaded World Tour after the relationship of Salman and Shah Rukh went sour at her birthday party and Salman Khan not allowing her to be part of any film having his rivals, Katrina Kaif has shown that she is a hardcore professional. Katrina has gone ahead and agreed for a Yashraj flick having SRK in the lead role. The untitled movie to be directed by Yash Chopra also has John Abraham in a prominent role. She will also be sharing the stage with Shah Rukh for a performance at Bhutan during the coronation day of the new king Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk. Both the top stars of Bollywood have been invited to Bhutan as the king in waiting is a big fan of Hindi films and he wanted SRK and Katrina to be present during the ceremony.
The Sound Of Silence - By Onir
[Below is the reproduction of a recently written blog by Onir where he urges people to stand up and speak against the Human rights violation] Yesterday I was at the Jehangir Art Gallery to protest against the arrest of Chandramohan Srilamantula (student of MSU, Vadodra) and the suspension of Shivji Panikkar. This was the focus but the protest was also to start recognising that wider issues of Freedom of Expression, Human rights violation all over the country needs to be addressed. It is a shame that one of the leading Painters of the country is living in Exile. A shame that a writer/art historian's face is blackened, books are burned. Does it not remind us all of something? Where is it all going? What saddened me was however the absence of the film industry at the protest. There was Konkona Sen, Ayesha Dharkar, Kitu Gidwani, Chitra Palekar and Sayed Mirza. Why was the mainstream Bollywood marked by their absence? Why is it that when there is a problem with the distribution of Fanaa the industry speaks up and the arrest of a young art student is watched in silence. Is it only Economics? Today it is Paintings and books, tomorrow it will be films (not that we have not already faced it with films like Parzania, Fire, Rang De Basanti). It is time we woke up from our apathy and self centeredness and realise we are a part of the bigger art Family or rather conscious citizens who want to stand up for their basic democratic/ human rights. The sound of silence speaks volumes- about how selfish and self centric we are. We need to speak up.... Our silences only encourages the powers of repression. we are guilty in our silence.
Aarti Chabbria's entailed silence
Well her silence wasn't something that she was upset over certain issues, but the beautiful missy was indeed saving her voice for a very special event. Yeah! As you all know, Aarti Chabbria has been shooting on the adrenaline of young lads as she has been hosting the show of recently started ICL. On the very first day of show out of unexpectedness, the actress happened to suffer from a sore throat. But, when it comes to profession, Aarti Chabbria was there to cross those hurdles by remaining silent all throughout the day. Merely, her silence was just not to stress herself and save the voice. Ultimately, the beauteous fille was able to render her normal voice with a bit touch of slightly husky tone. She leaped with laurels winning the best compliments from every corner'
Mahesh breaks his silence
After Pokiri, Mahesh Babu has reached a new top in the industry. The man, who now seems to be growing an image of aloofness, has stayed away from the media. Now after a long time, he made himself to the media for some serious questioning. With a success to back him, Mahesh was that much more convincing and confident to take on whatever the media had to throw at him. 'I wanted to speak to the media after Pokiri, rather than before it as it would had felt like promoting it. Now, after the movie's success, I can talk freely and more relaxed frame of mind'. Mahesh patiently answered all questions about the film, his new projects and his life after the marriage to Namratha Shirodkar. Mahesh feels this is the start of a new phase in his career. Mahesh also gave due credit to the Pokiri's director Puri Jagan for the effort he put in the success of the film. Talking about his next project Sainikudu, with Gunasekhar, Mahesh said it would also be a huge commercial entertainer. Mahesh also said he was committed to do movies for Durga Arts, M S Raju's Sumanth Arts, Arjuna Raju Roja Movies, Manjula Mega Super Good Films and G Ramesh Babu's Krishna Productions. Mahesh's biggest happiness has been that Chiranjeevi personally called him up to congratulate him on the good show in Pokiri.
Sathumpodaathay: Yuvan breaks the silence barrier
Director Vasanth's Sathumpodaathay is almost complete. A thrilled Vasanth says, 'Yuvan has come up with catchy numbers. Especially a song set to tunes by Yuvan inspired by western music and rendered by Sudha Raghunathan is a major highlight of the movie'. Vasanth says, 'It is a love story sans romance. All the three lead characters have come up with a riveting performance. Hopefully Sathumpodaathay would make right noise at the box office'. The audio of the movie would be released in Chennai at a gala function on Thursday evening. The movie stars Prithviraj, Padmapriya and Nithin Sathya in lead roles. Music is by Yuvanshankar Raja.
Mahesh Babu Breaks His Silence, Thanks SIIMA
SIIMA 2016, the 6th South Indian International Movie Awards were held in a very grand style in Singapore some days ago. One has witnessed Stars from all the four industries who have attended the awards ceremony and made sure that the event was a huge success. But it is the Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu who has disappointed his fans as he couldn’t make it to the event where he was awarded with the Best Actor Award for his performance in the movie Srimanthudu. This award is the third award for Mahesh Baby in SIIMA and he has received his first two for Dookudu and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. While his fans were quite upset that their hero has missed the action, the Super Star made things even more mysterious by being silent. Finally the actor broke his silence this morning and tweeted thanking SIIMA and said, “”Received my “Best Actor” Trophy for Srimanthudu! Thank You @siima”. The organizers of SIIMA have sent a personal invite to the actor asking him to grace the ceremony but he did not attend the event and said that he got busy with the pre production work of the Murugadoss’ project which is to begin this month end. Some of the sources say that Mahesh has been working on a new look and might be he wants to keep it as surprise till the movie releases.
