More news →'Chandamama' shooting in brisk progress
The regular shooting of a film directed by Krishnavamsi and produced by C Kalyan on the banner of Teja Productions with Navadeep, Sivabalaji as heroes and Andhraiti and Madhusalini as heroines has begun in Hyderabad recently. The film is presently shooting at Jayabheri Guest House and a huge set was erected there for the purpose. Navadeep, Andhraiti, Madhusalini and some other senior artistes were involved in the shooting which is going on continuously. The film is being made a total commercial and youthful entertainer. It was expected that the film would complete the talkie shooting by June-end and efforts are on to release the film in July. Though 'Malle Puvvu' considered as title for the movie, 'Chandamama' was the title confirmed for the movie, it is reliably learnt. Krishnavamsi who earned the name as a creative director and who had several successes to his credit is taking this film as a prestigious project. Like 'Sindhuram and Khadgam', the director is trying to make this as a 'Small Big Film'.
KM Radhakrishan for Krishnavamsi's film
Krishnavamsi, after gaining experience by working with Ramgopal Varma, made his debut as director through 'Gulabi'. Later his films like 'Ninne Pelladutha, Murari, Antahpuram and Sindhuram' brought him a name as a creative director. Very recently, he portrayed the brother-sister sentiment on the screen through 'Raakhee' and gave a hit by depicting the injustices meted out to the women. Now, Navadeep was selected to play hero in Krishnavamsi's next film to be produced by C Kalyan on the banner of Teja Films. It is reliably learnt that KM Radhakrishnan, who gave melodious tunes to 'Godavari and Anand', is likely to provide music for this film. It is also learnt that Jyothika Krishna, who made her debut as heroine through 'Laila Majnu' is playing the female lead in this movie.
Krishnavamsi turns choreographer for 'Okkadunnadu'
Creative director Krishnavamsi made his debut with a successful film 'Gulabi'. His films like Sindhuram, Samudram, Antahpuram and Khadgam' had got critical acclaim for his creativity. His recent film 'Rakhee' with NTR was also proved a big hit commercially. At a time when several choreographers turning director, this creative director had turned his eyes towards choreography. It is reliably learnt that he is supervising the choreography for two songs to be canned on Gopichand and Neha Jhulka being shot in Dubai for 'Okkadunnadu', which was being directed by Chandrasekhar Yeleti.
