Hari Prasad Passed Away

Hari Prasad a close friend and associate of Chiranjeevi suffered a heart attack at a private news channel while expressing his views on the actors entry into politics. He was rushed to a near by hospital after collapsed suddenly in the studio and later declared dead while undergoing with treatment in the hospital by doctors around 10.30 PM on Sunday. Hari Prasad, 55, was Chiranjeevi's classmate at the Madras Film Institute. He acted as a hero in the 1978 Tollywood cult movie, 'Sivaranjani' and essayed roles in over 100 movies in Telugu and Kannada. He had also produced some of Chiranjeevi's blockbuster movies one of them is 'Yamudiki Mogudu'. Chiru visited the hospital. Hari Prasad is survived by his wife with a son and daughter.

It's raining newcomers

Yet again, it's a film with newcomers. Innumerable number of films are being made by new filmmakers and this has spawned a demand for fresh faces and talent. Hence, every second day, one gets to hear of new boys and girls being introduced into the industry. One such film that has been launched by Sri Sitarama Sai Films today at the Ramanaidu Studios is Sivaranjani. Karthik, Farha, Irfan and Apurva play the main lead in the film. They are supported by some senior character artistes though such as Ali, Brahmanandam and Krishna Bhagwan among others. Vijayaramarao is directing the film. The muhurtam shot was picturised on Krishna Bhagawan, Apurva, Irfan, Farha and Pravalika.
