The success of Shekhar Kammulas 'Happy Days', which introduced a batch of new faces to the silver screen paved way for a new trend in Tollywood. The fresh directors and producers are now keen on making films with innovative subjects, featuring an array of newcomers. Inspired by 'Happy Days', Sridhar of Madhura Audio is turning into a director with the film 'Sneha Geetham'. This film which is going to debut a group of new faces is being produced by Lagadapati Sridhar on Larsco Entertainments banner. 'Sneha Geetham' planned on a new concept with a captivating storyline to captivate the youngsters, will begin shooting from 19th of this month.
RGV all praises for ‘Sneha Geetham’ team
Debutant director Madhura Sreedhar Reddy’s recent film ‘Sneha Geetham’ casting all the new comers is running successfully and heading towards 50 days mark. It was produced by Lagadapati Sridhar under the banner of Larsco Entertainments. In a meeting held, the unique director Ram Gopal Varma praised the entire team of the movie. He said, “With new cast, new story and a lot of passion, debut director Madhura Sreedhar has created this film very sincerely. I wish him wholehearted congratulations and all the best for their journey ahead.” Director Madhura Sreedhar Reddy said “When I was doing my engineering, I saw ‘Shiva’ and that’s when I decided to become a director. I am his Ekalavya disciple. Today, my Dronacharyulu Ram Gopal Varma appreciating the film is giving me immense happiness. This is an unforgettable day in my life”. Producer Lagadapati Sridhar said “Follow your heart- conquer the world is the theme of ‘Sneha Geetham’. The perfect example for that is Ram Gopal Varma. I am feeling overwhelmed with his appreciations for my film”. The meeting was also attended by heroes Venky, Sandeep and heroine Shreya Dhanwantary.
RGV Appreciates ‘Sneha Geetham’ Team
Versatile director Ramgopal Varma seems to have been impressed with ‘Sneha Geetham’ and complimented the film’s team. RGV applauded director Madhura Sridhar Reddy for an honest attempt in making a movie with fresh faces. RGV said “All the best for the journey ahead”. Madhura Sridhar Reddy recollected his college days and said he wanted to become a film director. He said he followed RGV as a self appointed student. Just like ‘Ekalavya’. Madhura Sridhar Reddy thanked RGV for his compliments and said it was an unforgettable day in his life. Producer Lagadapati Sreedhar, said that the theme of ‘Sneha Geetham’ was to ‘follow the heart’. He said that RGV was a quintessential example of the theme. Venky, Sundeep, heroine Shreya Dhanvanthri and others were present on the occasion.
Sridhar Reddy's film is 'Sneha Geetam'
It is well aware that Sridhar Reddy of Madhura Entertainment is turning a director and his film is likely to go to sets very soon. He announced the title of the film which he is going to direct at a press briefing recently. 'Sneha Geetam' is the title of the movie. The debutant director wanted to take fresh faces in the lead roles and he plans to conduct a talent search programme for the purpose in association with Zee Telugu channel. The film with love and friendship in its backdrop would go to sets in July this year.
'Snehageetham' - a launch pad for new faces
The production of the movie titled as 'Snehageetham' is being carried out in a fast manner. The shooting started of on October 19 and till October 21 the cast and crew shot some scenes including a song featuring the hero and heroine at some locations of Uppal in Hyderabad. Madhura Sridhar Reddy is the director of 'Snehageetham' which is being produced by Lagadapati Sridhar under the banner of Lasco Entertainments. New actors are being launched with this movie which is now being canned in Hyderabad.
Sneha in Sri Dega Arts "Manasu Palike Mouna Ragam"
"Manasu Palike Mouna Ragam" having Sneha in lead role is going to launched soon under the direction of Nagabhushanam (worked as Associate before). Audio was already recorded under music composition by K M Radhakrishnan. The film is produced by Deva Kumar Reddy who gave a hit film "Ammayi Bagundi" having Sivaji and Meera Jasmine in the lead. Regular shooting of the film will commence shortly. Chandana and Sarath Babu are playing the other important characters in the film.
