'Sree Ramaraksha' is a family entertainer starring Rajith and Shamili in the lead roles. Written and directed by Raamu, it has Nisha, Vijay Kumar, Shafi, Jyothi, 'Shankarabharanam' Rajya Lakshmi, Kasi Vishwanath and others in important roles. Talking about the entertainer, the makers say, "'Sree Ramaraksha' is a wholesome family entertainer produced on Vasishta Cine Academy banner by Prabhath Varma. Raamu is making his directorial debut with this film. Along with family-based entertainment, 'Sree Ramaraksha' has a message of social responsibility". The shoot is all done but for one song. "The talkie part is all done. The first look teaser and the audio will be released in September", director Raamu says. Music-directed by Sabu Varghese, it has dialogues and lyrics by Parimi Kedarnath. Background music is by Vaidhhi. Cinematography is by S Muralimohan Reddy. Ram Sunkara is the stunt choreographer. Co-produced by Gamidi Sathyam and PV Rangaraju, it comes with the tag line - 'Yuddham lo ayudham raksha, Krishnamurthy mata Murari ki Sri Ramaraksha' ('Weapon is the defense in war. Krishnamurthy's word is Murari's best defense'). Krishnamurthy's character is played by veteran actor Vijaykumar.
Sreenu Vytla and Ravi Teja again
Successful director Sreenu Vytla, who gave hits like Venky and Andarivadu, is all set to direct Ravi Teja once again for the forthcoming film of Bhagawan and Danayya, who are now busy producing 'Desa Muduru' with Allu Arjun. It is also said that 'Dubai Sreenu' is the title under consideration for this film. The producers first planned to rope in Hansika Muthwal, the heroine of 'Desa Muduru', for this flick. But now it is learnt that Nayanatara, who has several hits to her credit in Telugu like Chandramukhi, Ghajini and Lakshmi, has consented to act opposite Ravi Teja in this film. A major part of the film is likely to be shot in Dubai. The shooting of the film would be formally launched in December itself. Meanwhile, a young music director is likely to provide tunes for this film. More details are awaited.
Sreenu Vaitla to direct Ram
Young hero Ram was introduced to the tinsel world by director-cum-producer YVS Choudary through his film 'Devadasu' on the banner of Bommarillu, which ran for Silver Jubilee and was proved a stupendous hit. After that, Ram played hero in 'Jagadam' directed by Sukumar, but it failed to make a mark as expected. According to latest information, Sreenu Vaitla, who was riding on cloud nine with two successive hits like 'Dubai Sreenu' and 'Dhee' is going to direct Ram for a film, with a different love story. Young music sensation Devisri Prasad is scoring music for the movie. Presently script work is in progress for the movie on the one hand and on the other, selection of artistes and technicians is also under way. It is reliably learnt that Sreenu Vaitla had decided to make the film a big hit and achieve a hattrick.
Sreenu Vaitla to direct Balakrishna
Sridevi Movies, which had produced hit films like 'Vamsanikokkadu' and 'Aditya 369' with Balakrishna is planning another film with the same hero. The producer reportedly selected Sreenu Vaitla as director as he gave a blockbuster like 'Dhee' recently. Presently, Balakrishna is busy with his film 'Pandurangadu' and after that he may likely to work in the direction of Gunasekhar for the film 'Sadhu'. At the same time, Sreenu Vaitla is also presently busy with his film 'Ready (Denikaina)' with Ram of 'Devadasu'-fame. After this, Sreenu Vaitla agreed to do a film 'King' with Nagarjuna as hero. In view of all these commitments, the film by Sridevi Movies may go to sets in December. The combination of Balakrishna and Sreenu Vaitla could bring a good entertainer.
Sreedevi Becomes Mom To A Star!?
Its time and yesteryear glamour queens have to accept a fact that they are no more sale-able as star heroines. Having lost charm with age, many heroines have joined the bandwagon of aunty and mother character roles becoming themselves busy as artists. Apparently, South Cinema industry is facing a shortage of beautiful heroines but there is no dearth for mother artists. Anyways, the subject of interest here is senior actress Sreedevi is all set to become a mother for Salman Khan in one of the upcoming film which is yet to go on sets. Though an official confirmation is yet to come out but Bollywood sources have formally rolled the news out in a hurry. The untitled film will be directed by Vipul Shah. After ‘English Vinglish’ in Hindi and ‘Puli’ in Telugu, Tamil; there isn’t much craze acquired by Sreedevi. So, she took up an own venture titled ‘Mom’ currently in production stage bankrolled by her husband Boney Kapoor. Only after wrapping up of ‘Mom,’ we might get more information on Salman-Sreedevi movie.
Sreejith Ravi misbehaves with School Kids
Malayalam actor Sreejith Ravi was arrested by cops in Ottappalam for allegedly misbehaving with a Group of 14 School Kids. As per the complaint, A middle-aged person has misbehaved with School Kids in a car and took videos of them in an objectionable manner. He has exposed himself before them in an indecent manner. When the kids raised the alarm, Locals intervened and the culprit fled from the spot in a hurry. Soon, A complaint was lodged with police. Some of the school kids identified Sreejith as the person who misbehaved with them. Investigation revealed the car belonged to Sreejith Ravi and he was at the spot when the incident took place on August 27th. Cops found necessary proofs for it based on cell phone signals. Now, Sreejith Ravi is being questioned to ascertain his involvement in it. Sreejith Ravi is the son of Malayalam actor TG Ravi. He is known for the roles with negative shades and even appeared in Vishal's last release 'Kathakali'.
