The word of mouth was encouraging on the audio of D. Ramanaidu's latest film 'Sri Krishna 2006', which was released recently. Srikanth, Venu, Bramhanandam, Gauri Munjal and Ramya Krishna are in the lead. Eminent writer Vijayendra Prasad is making debut as Director. Talkie part of the film was completed. Shooting of remaining two songs is going on at Bangkok. At the same time, post-production work is on the fast track. Srilekha scored music for the film and it is her 11th film on this banner. Producer D Ramanaidu expressed satisfaction over the tremendous response to the audio as well as ringtones. He said that the movie could be categorized as an entertaining one with two guys trying to marry one girl.
Bala Krishna’s ‘Sri Rama rajyam’ movie launch postponed!
A few days back it was reported to our viewers that ace director K Bapu who made evergreen classics like Seeta Kalyanam and Mutyala Muggu in the past is planning to do a film with Bala Krishna in which Balayya plays the role of Rama and the film has been titled as ‘Sri Rama rajyam’.This is for the first time Bapu is directing Bala Krishna. It was also said that the movie is likely to launch today. But the latest news is that the movie launch event has been postponed in the wake of Ayodhya case judgment. The movie will be producing by Yalamanchili Sai Babu and has music by music maestro Ilayaraja. Producer of the film said that the movie launching ceremony has postponed by a week but the date will be announced shortly.
Bala Krishna’s Sri Rama Rajyam in RFC from 17th May!
Bala Krishna’s forthcoming mythological film Sri Rama Rajyam started of its fresh schedule today in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The previous schedule was shot in a specially erected set in Alwal, where few vital scenes on Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Nayantara are canned. Bapu is wielding the megaphone for this mythological subject while Yelamanchili Sai Babu is producing it. Ilayaraja has been busy scoring the music for the film. Sri Rama Rajyam is the last film for Mullapudi Venkata Ramana, who has penned the dialogues and the script and has passed away recently. The multi-starrer also has ANR, Srikanth, Muralimohan, Sai Kumar in vital roles. The entire shoot will be wrapped up by June and Sri Rama Rajyam will hit the silver-screens in July.
Super Star Krishna in 'Sri Satyanarayana Swamy'
Suman, who won critical acclaim with his characters in 'Annamayya and Sri Ramadasu' is playing the lead role in 'Sri Satyanarayana Swamy'. Another speciality in the film is that he would appear in 10 different get-ups in this film. One more interesting point here is that Super Star Krishna, who had more than 300 films to his credit, is donning the role of a 'Maharaja' in this film and he would take part in the shooting from November 5. The film is being directed by Nagesh Naradasi and is produced by Smt Radha on the banner of Karthik Movies. Vandemataram Srinivas gave melodious tunes to all the songs and poems in the film whose audio is getting good response from the audiences. This heavy budget film is most likely to be released in the end of November or in December
Bapu and Bala Krishna to bring ‘Sri Rama rajyam’!
It looks like post the success of Simha, all the directors of Telugu industry is looking for Bala Krishna. Already Bala Krishna is busy with Dasari’s Parama Veera Chakra and on the other hand his new flick with Paruchuri Murali is on sets and now he has signed up a new flick. Ace director K Bapu who made evergreen classics like Seeta Kalyanam and Mutyala Muggu in the past is planning to do a film with Bala Krishna in which Balayya plays the role of Rama that was done by his father NTR in the original. This is for the first time Bapu is directing Bala Krishna. According to reliable sources the film has been titled as ‘Sri Rama rajyam’ and would likely to have its launching ceremony on September 30th. The movie is based on Uttara Ramayanam (Lava Kusha story). Famous music director Ilayaraja will be composing the tunes for the film and already two songs have been recorded. There is buzz that glamorous beauty Nayanthara will be playing the role of Seetha in the film but as there is news that she is going to quit the films as she is going to marry Prabhu Deva soon. Sri Ramadasu on IMAX Screen
Sri Ramadasu is going to create history on 29th of this month when it is going to be displayed on IMAX screen with 12000 watt sound capacity. It would be the first Indian film to be displayed on IMAX Screen. Ramesh Prasad, the owner of IMAX informed that the sophisticated equipment required for this purpose has already been imported. IMAX Theatre was started 2 1/2 years ago, but, till now only 3D and Hollywood films were displayed. Prasad told, Sri Ramadasu is no doubt is an extraordinary film and if we see the film on such a big screen, the effect will be entirely different. Nagarjuna's performance, Raghavendra Rao's direction, Gopalreddy's photography, Keeravani's music are going to create sensation on IMAX screen. The scenes like Lord Rama's coming, sending Panchamukha Anjaneya for Ramadasu will appear to be real and the audience will definitely get excited." Akkineni Nagarjuna said "I feel very happy that "Sri Ramadasu" is going to be displayed on IMAX and it is definitely a memorable film for me". Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor expressed his view that when we see "Sri Ramadasu" on such a big screen like IMAX we will go to some other world.
