Subbaraj not losing sleep over Producers’ Council’s ‘red card’
Director Karthik Subbaraj is not reportedly breaking his brains to get out of the ‘red card’ that he has been shown by the Producers’ Council for having depicted film producers in bad light in his latest directorial venture Iraivi. It is rumoured strongly in Kollywood that Subbaraj’s proposed film starring national award-winning actor Dhanush in the lead has been shelved for the time being apparently due to the temporary ban imposed by the Council on Subbaraj. The burly director, however, appears totally unperturbed by the ban. Despite rumours that Subbaraj might have to pay to his producer for the not-so-successful show of Iraivi in theatres, Subbaraj remains cool. He has now tweeted on his Twitter account stating that he wasn’t afraid in facing the fan. “I’m a fan of ‘Thalaivar’ and am as such fearless!” reads Karthik’s tweet. This amply explains that he is not concerned at all about the Council’s ban on his film-making instincts as he is reportedly getting offers to make films in Telugu and Hindi!
