Sultan for Pongal
Here is some exciting news for the fans of superstar Rajinikanth. They can see Rajini in action in all screens that show the Pongal release movies. The trailer of 'Sultan the Warrior', an animated movie being made by Rajini's daughter Soundarya, produced by Adlabs in association with Ocher Studios, will be screened from Pongal. The official sources reveal that the trailer would runs for 1 minute and 43 seconds. The trailer is sure to excite the audiences, as it is the first ever experiment to show the action hero with incredible charisma in an animated form. The film with the music of A R Rahman is expected to be released by the end of 2008. Musicmazaa feels proud to announce the news first to the world.

" 'Sultan, The Warrior would be hundred times bigger than 'Sivaji: The Boss' ", says Soundarya Rajnikanth, daughter of super star Rajinikanth. Soundarya, who is wielding the megaphone for the animation film 'Sultan, The Warrior' is quite confident about her venture. 'Being a great fan of my father, I am shaping up his character in such a way to satisfy the fan inside me. The film will surely lure the masses'. Sources say the film is shaping up fast and it would be ready for 2008 release. The highlight of the movie is that it is none other than Rajinikanth, who has lent his voice to narrate the story. The fact that the musical wizard A.R. Rahman has scored music for the animation movie has just triggered the expectations. The movie is produced by Reliance Adlabs.
'Sultan' director out to 'set action' in LA
Director Ali Abbas Zafar has jetted off to Los Angeles for work on his upcoming film "Sultan", starring Salman Khan. "Heading to Los Angeles to set the action of#sultan with @larnellstovall. The countdown to the shoot begins," Zafar tweeted. Larnell Stovall is an internation fight choreographer, and given his involvement in "Sultan", fans of Salman can perhaps look forward to some awe-inspiring action sequences in the film. Produced by Aditya Chopra under his Yash Raj Films banner, the movie is reportedly based on the life of a wrestler and the "Dabangg" star will be seen in the lead role. His leading lady in the film is yet to be announced. While the shooting of the film is scheduled to commence in November, its release date has been fixed for the auspicious occasion of Eid in 2016. Meanwhile, Salman is busy promoting his forthcoming production "Hero", and he is also tied up with the shoot of "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo". He will also soon be seen on the small screen as the host of "Bigg Boss 9".
'Sultan' director 'rocked' by Delhi earthquake
"Sultan" director Ali Abbas Zafar was scouting locations for his forthcoming Salman Khan-starrer here when an earthquake rocked the city. The director took to Twitter to share his experience as he posted: “Location scouting Delhi for @SultanTheMovie and rocked by the #earthquake... Well action is about to begin.” He also shared an image of India Gate with people gathering around the landmark. Delhi and neighbouring areas were hit by a 7.5 Richter Scale quake, with its epicentre in Afghanistan, which jolted large parts of Afghanistan, Pakistan and northern India. The tremors led to panic among people. Produced by Aditya Chopra under his Yash Raj Films banner, "Sultan" is reportedly based on the life of a wrestler and the "Dabangg" star will be seen in the lead role.
