More news →'Swagatham' is the latest flick of Jagapatibabu
'Swagatham' is the title confirmed for a film being directed by Dasarth and produced by Aditya Ram on the banner of Aditya Ram Movies with Jagapatibabu, Bhoomika and Anushka in the lead. It may be mentioned here that Adityaram had earlier produced some successful films like 'Sandade sandadi and Khushi Khushigaa'. The shooting of the film was launched in Hyderabad recently and continued the schedule at Rajahmundry and its surrounding areas. Again the film unit is back in Hyderabad for the shooting. About 40 per cent of the film shooting would be completed with the second schedule. The third schedule was planned in the US and the shooting of the film would continue there for about 25 days. Besides talkie, three more songs would be choreographed there. But for a little patchwork, the shooting of the film would be wrapped up with this third schedule. It is learnt that the film would deal with the family relations and the rapport between a wife and a husband and the sweetness of family life. RP Patnaik is scoring music for the movie.

'Swagatam' audio launch soon
If it's a Jagapati Babu film, then it is bound to have two heroines and lots of family drama. But this time around, in Swagatam, the filmmakers are trying to focus on giving his film a different feel altogether. So the storyline is set in the US and revolves around the lifestyle of the NRIs. How they deal with life and how life treats them will remain the main focus. Naturally, this has meant shooting in the US and a change of backdrop from the usual sets. Bhoomika and Anushka are playing the lead opposite him. The music for the film has been composed by R P Patnaik and the makers say that the audio will be released soon by a leading music company.
'Swagatam' logo to be disclosed in Dubai tomorrow
The logo of Jagapati Babu's forthcoming film Swagatam in which he stars opposite Bhumika and Anushka will be unveiled tomorrow at the Santosham awards function to be held in Dubai. The film is being made with a huge budget which is unlike any of his earlier films. Earlier, Jagapati Babu's film were made with around Rs 3 crore budget. But now, the film has touched a new high of Rs 5 and half crore. Given the film's shooting in the US has also escalated the budget. It is being planned as a huge comeback film for Jagapati Babu, who has had a series of flops as a solo hero last year.
'Swagatam' in Hampi
Hampi, the beautiful and quaint town in Karnataka is the latest pick of our filmmakers. It is supposed to be a lovely place with enchanting sunrises and settings with the ruins of the Vijayanagar dynasty as a perfect backdrop. A song is currently being shot with Jagapati Babu and Anushka. The film's lead romantic pair straddles two continents, America and Asia and three cities before it ends. Though it is being anticipated that it would be another inclusion to the long list of triangular love stories that one sees Jagapati Babu in, Vinayak says it is not the case. The film's music, as earlier mentioned, has been composed by R P Patnaik.

Jagapati Babu starrer Swagatam's audio release date has been confirmed. Most parts of the film have been shot in the US and the film is a romantic family drama. Given that it is Jagapati Babu's hundredth film, it has generated lots of curiosity among the audience. The makers too are making every effort to ensure the success of the film. From the promos, to the teasers, everything is being planned carefully. While Bhoomika is always looked upon as a safe bet for such family stories, Anushka's presence has generated a lot of curiosity among the audience. After all, she is new glamour queen of Tollywood!
