Jagapathi Babu's stint as villain has inspired many senior heroes to turn baddies. Senior hero Rajashekar is the latest hero to join in villain league. From past few months we have been hearing reports about Villain roles of Rajashekar but till now there was no official confirmation about them. Now it is coming out that Director Sriwas has approached the actor with a powerful villain role for his upcoming film with actor Gopichand. Rajashekar has reportedly agreed to play the villain role and the role is going to be very powerful and is tipped as one of the major attractions of the film.The film will be produced on the director's home banner Vedashwa creations. Rajasekhar's films off late were not successful and the opportunities for him has been reduced considerably. So the actor is planning to start his second innings as villain. Rajasekhar played negative roles during the initial days of his career. He has appeared in roles with negative shades in films like Aahuti and Talambralu.
'Arundhati' shoots in Film Nagar
The shooting of 'Arundhati' directed by Kodi Ramakrishna and produced by Shyam Prasad Reddy on the banner of Shyam Prasad Arts with Anushka playing the title role is progressing well at a private house in Film Nagar. The problems faced by women and the injustices meted out to women in the society are being debated in detail in this movie. Senthil, who earned the name as a good cinematographer in very less time, is working as cameraman for the film. It may be recalled here that several hit films like 'Ankusham, Ahuti, Ammoru and Talambralu' came in the combination of Kodi Ramakrishna and Shyam Prasada Reddy. However, this film is being produced keeping an eye on the woman audiences in particular.
Anushka to play dual role in 'Arundhati'
Over 50 per cent shooting of 'Arundhati' directed by Kodi Ramakrishna and produced by Shyamprasad Reddy on the banner of MS Arts with Anushka playing dual roles for the first time. It is reliably learnt that both the characters of Anushka were quite diversified. As the title suggests, the film might be dealing with the problems faced by women in the society. Deepak is playing the hero opposite Anushka in this film. Anushka, who played a super-hit commercial film like 'Lakshyam' had switched over to a film like 'Arundhati' is quite surprising. However, she had reportedly agreed to play the role as there was a lot of scope to perform in this movie and she could prove herself as an artiste with this movie. In 'Bhadra', Deepak played the brother of the heroine, while he is playing hero to the same heroine. Films like 'Ankusam, Ahuti, Talambralu, Ammoru and Anji' were proved successful in the combination of Kodi Ramakrishna and Shyamprasad Reddy. The producer says, 'Our latest flick would be on par with those successful and hit films.'
