The revenge drama has the actress performing the dance form Tango for the first time. She is sparing no effort to perfect her moves. Yami, we hear, is putting in long hours of practice, to match steps with Hrithik, who's also known for his nimble feet. That's not all. For a scene featuring her playing the piano, Yami trained for two weeks. She says, "It's great when one gets to learn something new. My character is required to play the piano and do the Tango. The entire process was fun and I simply enjoyed every bit of it." The two actors are working together for the first time and going by the response to the trailer, their chemistry has been loved by moviebuffs.
Two to tango
Get ready to welcome producer V A Durai after a long gap. He last ventured to produce Pithamagan starring Vikram and Suriya, directed by Bala. Now after a brief interval, the producer is back. Durai's next production would bring together actor- director K Bhagyaraj and 'action king' Arjun. Arjun will play the lead role in the movie to be directed by Bhagyaraj. The project is expected to hit the floors this December. Known for his engrossing screenplay Bhagyaraj teams up with Arjun, who is best known for his action sequences. Unlike Arjun's routine 'action film', this movie is expected to be laced with emotions and sentiments.
Two to tango again
Director Jananthan and Jeeva struck a right chord in E. The movie released last year went on to complete a 100-day run. The movie was dubbed and released in Telugu. It witnessed a good response. Now the success brings together Jananthan and Jeeva again. Sources close to Jananthan say,'This time the director is planning a period film and Jeeva readily agreed to be part of the project'. Jeeva is currently busy shooting for Rameshwaram. Once the project is completed, the shooting for his next with Jananthan would commence. The director had won laurels with his maiden venture Iyarkkai though the movie did not do well at the box office. Having established himself with E, expectations are now high on his next.
Neruppu Kozhi-Two to tango
After winning rave reviews for his performance in Thottal Poo Malarum, Shakthi, the fresh face of Kollywood is all set to start his next project. According to reliable sources, Neruppu Kozhi is the name of Shakthi's next film in which he would act in the direction of Chella. Chella, who entered into Kollywood with Ajith starrer Azhwar has penned a different script and approached Sakthi and his father P Vasu, it is said. Inspired by the storyline, both father and the son immediately expressed their consent. According to Chella, Neruppu Kozhi would be a turning point for Sakthi like Nanda for Surya, Sethu for Vikram and Ram for Jeeva. He also hopes that the film will turn a fresh leaf in his own career too.
Two to tango for 'Rajadhi Raja'
Ragava Lawrncce and Sakthi Chidambaram would come together for a movie soon. According to sources, the title of the film would be Rajadhi Raja. It is said that Sakthi Chidambaram has acquired the rights for the title from Pavalar Creations, the production firm of maestro Ilayaraja which had produced the movie 'Rajadhi Raja' starring rajnikanth a few years ago. However, it is said that the story would be totally different. When asked Sakthi Chidambaram, he confirmed the news and said that a search is on for two heroines.
Siddharth, Cheran to tango!
Siddharth made a fantastic beginning to his career with 'Ayudha Ezhuthu' is going places. A couple of big hits in Telugu followed by 'Rang De Basanti' have taken him to stardom. Flooded with offers from both Telugu and Bollywood, Siddharth is busy shooting round the clock. Adding one more in his kitty is a movie to be produced by Cheran. Siddharth, who was last seen in 'Ayutha Ezhuthu' in Tamil, has been roped in by Cheran for his next movie. It is said the film would go to floors once Cheran completes 'Pirivom Sandhippom' and Siddharth is done with his existing projects.
