Tarakaratna's next flick to be 'Venkatadri'

Nandamuri Tarakaratna, grandson of the late NT Ramarao, while making his debut into films had the honour of launching nine films on a single day in Ramakrishna Cine Studios. None in the film industry had the honour and it is almost impossible to announce so many films with a single hero even before facing the camera, leave alone their launch. Of course, none of his films he acted so far were so great and at the same time, many of the films that were announced on that day failed to see the light. Now, this hero Tarakaratna is busy with the shooting of 'Mukkanti'. After the completion of the present project, he is likely to play hero in 'Venkatadri' to be directed by V Samudra. The film is said to be an out and out action movie and aimed at attracting the mass audiences. This young hero is claiming that he would not only accept films with lover boy image, but also play in action and mass-oriented subjects.

After trying his hand as a hero for nearly 14 years, finally Tarakaratna felt that he should try a hand at villain roles. He has took up a full pledged villain role for "Raja Cheyyi Veste" and that worked well. We hear that director Gopichand Malineni has contacted Tarakaratna, if he could play villain his upcoming film. The movie has Saidharam Tej playing the lead role, while Rakul Preet Singh is the heroine. As this young hero is moving close to Nandamuri camp and recently he wished all the best for Raja Cheyyi Veste movie, Tarakaratna might respond positively.

Anjali plays cameo in director 'Taramani'

Actress Anjali has played a cameo in filmmaker Ramsubramaniam's "Taramani", which features debutant Vasanth Ravi and singer-turned-actress Andrea Jeremiah in the lead. "It was at the personal request of direct Ram that I accepted this offer. It's a role quite contrary to anything I've done lately," Anjali told. Anjali had previously worked with Ram in his critically acclaimed directorial debut "Kattradhu Thamizh". Said to be a moody urban romantic saga, "Taramani" is jointly produced by Ram and JSK Sathish. The film, which has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, is currently in its post-production phase. Meanwhile, Anjali is looking forward to the forthcoming release of Tamil comedy "Sakalakalavallavan". "It's a fun film. In the beginning of my career, I experimented a lot with offbeat films. I'm more interested in commercial films now because I'm keen to strike a perfect balance," she said.
