The wedding engagement of Akshita, daughter of actor Vikram, has happened recently in Chennai, grandly. We earlier had reported that a diamond ring, which costs Rs.12 lakhs, was lost during the function and the family of Chiyaan has gone sadly since it's their precious jewel that should not be missed. Now we hear from the sources close to Vikram family that the ring has been handed over to them by Lakshmanan, a Chennai cab driver, who found it in his car. It's being said that Akshita had hired his taxi earlier and lost it there unknowingly. The honest cab driver has returned it recently, which made the Chiyaan's family go stunned. We hear that Vikram and his family are really happy about this action of Lakshmanan and they have heartily thanked him. Kudos!
Taxi Taxi reshoot
A R Rahman's hit number Taxi..Taxi...in 'Sakkarakatti' has been reshoot now. The song has been declared a big hit and is catching the imagination of youth across the State. V Creations, the producers of the film decided to re-shoot the song Taxi Taxi' It has been re-framed rapper Blaaze and was shot starring Shantanoo and five French models at Perambur Binny Mills. Kalaa Prabhu, son of producer Kalaipuli S Thanu, is directing the film. 'Sakkarakatti' audio, released by Sony BMG has made it big and is sold in a quick pace. The re-shot version of 'Taxi Taxi'' will hit music channels by the end of this month.
Another version of Sakkarakatti's 'Taxi song' filmed
Ever since A.R. Rahman's masterful compositions for the film 'Sakkarakatti' was released, all the songs have been making waves literally. Clearly 'Sakkarakatti' the launch vehicle of debutante Santanoo had A.R. Rahman's compositions as the USP of the film. To match with the splendorous mirth of the songs debutante director Kalaprabhu has made it a point to match up with brilliant visualization. The song 'Taxi' sung by Blaze has come out in such an impressive manner that the filmmakers have decided to shoot one more version for the song and reports suggest that both versions will feature in the film. 'Sakkarakatti' will mark the debut of two star kids. Hero Santanoo is the son of veteran actor-director K. Bhagyaraj while Kala Prabhu is the son of producer Kalaipuli S. Dhanu.
Mohanlal turns taxi driver
After playing some superhero roles in Ranjith movies, Mohanlal will play a ordinary down to earth character in the new movie 'Loham. This new offering from Ranjith will have Lal as Raju, a taxi driver.The movie will tell a story that develops when an young lady named Jayanthi alights into the taxi driven by Raju.The movie follows the dramatic happenings, that occur in between. Andreah Jeramiah plays the lead lady in the movie which will also feature Palery macnikcyam fame Mydhili in an important role. Kunjui S kumar is the cinematographer while Manoj Kannoth does the editing.Max Lab entertainments distributes this movie which is on sets now.

Taxi script in Oscar library
Milan Luthria must be the happiest man around. The director's latest film, Taxi No 9211 is a success, and its script has made it to the Oscar Library of film scripts. Taxi No 9211 is a commercial success all the way and this appreciation only adds to the satisfaction of the team that sweated it out in the making. Ek Ajnabee's script also made it to the library earlier this year. The other films to have made it there are Karan Johar's Kal Ho Na Ho and PNC's Shabd.
