Tell Me O Khuda’ set for Diwali release against ‘RA. One

It’s not as if people would want to watch only one film during Diwali, says Hema Malini who has decided to release her daughter Esha Deol’s relaunch “Tell Me O Khuda” with Shahrukh Khan’s sci-fi “RA.One”. “We had a meeting with the distributors and exhibitors on Friday. And we all decided to go for a Diwali release. I was advised against it since ‘RA.One’ is also releasing for Diwali. But it’s not as if people would want to watch only one film during Diwali,” said Hema. “If they like both they’ll see them both. I personally think Diwali is a wonderful window for any auspicious film. Some of the biggest successes have happened during the festive season. So why not go for it?” Hema isn’t afraid of the competition. “We’ve made an emotional father-daughter story. I don’t think we need to fear competition from anyone.” Apparently SRK has welcomed “Tell Me Of Khuda” with open arms into the Diwali release schedule. “Shahrukh and Hemaji go back a long way. In fact, Hemaji was the first producer to sign Shah Rukh for ‘Dil Aashna Hai’ which she directed. Ever since then Shah Rukh has had the highest regard for Hemaji,” said a source.

'Tell me your identity' - Ajay Devgan

The actor/director who is know to keep a low profile, recently made a sweet gesture by talking to fans over the internet on the occasion of Friendships Day almost the entire day ! Apparently Ajay was looking for an appropriate day to interact with fans and took this opportunity to answer friend requests all over the web based social networking sites and communities like Facebook, Myspace along with his personal website. Unlike Ajay's abilities and understanding of the technical aspects involving film making, nowadays Ajay concentrates and devotes a lot of time on his computer and web. Interestingly it was observed that Ajay also insisted on the true identity like the picture of the person who wishes to be his friend before accepting their request. Looks like nothing stops the man from insisting on perfection. All we have to say is, Good going Ajay, as there are millions who wish to reach you!

Esha Deol turns editor for ‘Tell Me Oh Khuda’

Esha Deol is not just the leading lady of her mother Hema Malini’s production venture “Tell Me Oh Khuda”. She is also the assistant director, her mother’s chief technical adviser and editor. “I’ve learnt plenty on the technical side of filmmaking during ‘Tell Me Oh Khuda’. But it’s a bit early for me to change lanes,” said Esha. While Hema confirms that Esha is involved with the film’s editing, the youngster said: “I’m helping mom out. Yeah, I am sitting on the editing. Throughout ‘Tell Me Oh Khuda’ I was an assistant. I’ve learnt so much from behind the camera. Now I’m learning how to edit. So this film has been a perfect training ground for me.” Esha doesn’t rule out the possibility of direction. “I know I can direct a film anytime,” said th 29-year-old who made her debut in 2002 with “Koi Mere Dil Se Pooche”. In her eight year long career she did over 25 films and some of the hits that she featured in are “Dhoom”, “Yuva” and “No Entry”.

"If I tell you about my relationships with aspiring actresses...." - Ramu

1. Do you even think of social problems like poverty, communalism, alcoholism, drug abuse, pollution, etc and what would you do about it? Ans: No. Nothing. 2. What do you think happens after death? Ans: I am more interested in thinking of what will happen in the next one hour. 3. What you are saying might anger Hindus. Ans: Ok, I am buying a ticket to Mecca. 4. When you are not good at English, how can you understand Ayan Rand's work? Ans: I read her thoughts, not her vocabulary. 5. Who is John Galt? Ans: Certain aspects of me. 6. How many relationships did you have with aspiring actresses? Ans: If I tell you, you will die of jealousy. 7. What was the one incident that influenced you the most in shaping you as RGV? Ans: When I was 6 months old I fell on my head. 8. In Sarkar Raj I saw Telugu signboards. Ans: I saw them too. 9. You are as vulnerable as Peter Keating, as brilliant as Ellsworth Toohey and consider yourself as Howard Roark. Ans: Actually I have a schizophrenic mix of Ellsworth Toohey and Peter Keating in me, but many times I successfully pass off myself as Howard Roark especially to girls and investors.

What is Kajal trying to tell?

Apparently Brahmtosavam is releasing tomorrow and other hand Kajal Agarwal is busy promoting her next Bollywood release "Do Lafzon Ki Kahani". In this film Kajal plays a blind girl who gets operated and gets eyes later. Randeep Huda is the hero. The story that says Kajal is unknowingly kissed by Randeep Huda and then she agreed to keep that kiss in the final version of the film sounds rubbish. During her FHM Magazine 'topless' shoot also, Kajal stated that the magazine has given a morphed version of her. Later she admitted that she has shot semi-nude, after magazine threatened to sue her. In similar lines, this kissing episode also lies another publicity stunt. What Kajal, what are you trying to say yaar??!

Manoj Bajpayee: Didn't have courage to tell family about acting dreams

He has garnered immense critical acclaim and bagged national award twice, but the actor Manoj Bajpayee says there was a time when he was hesitant to tell his family about his acting dreams. "The place where I come from, acting was considered the lowest of the jobs. Till the time I took a train to Delhi, to study in Delhi University and do theatre, I didn't have the courage to tell my parents or friends that I want to become an actor," Bajpayee told reporters here. The 'Aligarh' star was speaking at the anthem launch of his upcoming 'Budhia Singh - Born to Run.' Directed by Soumendra Padhi, it is a biopic of Budhia Singh, who ran 48 marathons when he was only five years old. The 47-year-old actor, who was accompanied by Sunil Chettri, captain of the Indian football team, said Budhia would have been a legend by now, but it didn't happen. "I am so proud of Chettri. I, as an Indian, want to be proud of many such talents. A child like Budhia would've been a legend by now, at the age of 14. He would've been talked about, celebrated, but this is the challenge of our county, that we couldn't even celebrate a five-year-old boy's ability," he said. "I am not talking about his achievements, I am talking about his ability... There are too many Budhias in our country but we only want achievement, we do not want the process," Bajpayee added. Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures and Code Red Film Productions, the film also stars Tillotama Shome and Master Mayur. Bajpayee plays the role of Budhia's coach in the film which will release on August 5.
