If there were an unofficial slogan for the Consumer Electronics Show this year, it would be Evolutionary, not revolutionary. Let's be honest, groundbreakers were in short supply at CES this year. There was no news out of Vegas that blew our socks off. Not that this is a terrible thing. The good just got better. Drones are still commanding the air space. Cars continue to work hard on driving themselves. Virtual reality keeps on climbing. Our homes are getting smarter and smarter. Televisions are reaching the apex of perfection. Technology continues to become more personal as self quantification is still all the rage. And at the core of our world, our namesake even, the mighty PC still looms large, albeit slightly smaller and sleeker than the year before. With yards and yards of convention center space, thousands of products, plenty of opinionated analysts and editors at CES, it wasn't exactly a breeze to finalize our top picks, but we fought it out to bring you this list of 18 standouts. Many of these products, we believe, will be key in shaping the tech landscape for the next 12 months. And some of them might not even make it to market. A good number of our Best of CES 2015 winners were top performers in our lab last year, while some vanished into the ether. You can take a look at how our 2015 picks fared, but for now, here are the most interesting, innovative, and important things we saw at CES 2016. –Wendy Sheehan Donnell
Janatha Is NTR’s Best of the Best
Junior Ntr is a powerful performer. He can easily portray toughest of emotions at a cakewalk. Many directors explored the best of NTR in past films but Koratala Siva reportedly presented Tarak in best ever characterization which will remain on golden lining for his total career, says a member closely connected with ‘Janatha Garage’ unit. As the film is set for grand release on September 1st, expectations have reached sky high wherein pre release trade calculations have put the film almost in Top 5. Away from these commercial equations, NTR is known to have bagged a character with multiple shades and Koratala needs to be appreciated first for such immaculate designing. NTR is the best and Mohan Lal is also the best. How could it be, when such two powerhouse performers come face to face before camera? This is the reason why ‘Janatha Garage’ is rated as best of the best for Junior. ‘Viewers will discuss less about his dances, fights and dialogue delivery as they will be thrown into NTR’s mesmerism with overall character portrayal. The glance we got in the promotional stuff is just a bit of it, there’s lot more to see on screen on September 1st. Keep your anticipations as high as you need, NTR and Koratala will out par them,’ the same source added with confidence.

This Is The Best Phase Of My Life: Kriti Kharbanda
Happy to be a part of actor-director Nagashekar's upcoming film Maasthi Gudi, actress Kriti Kharbanda has said how she was roped into the project. "I had my platter full towards the end of last year, so I hadn't signed any new films in Kannada. Then, Nagashekhar approached me with this film. I liked the role and the subject. Plus, I've known the kind of female characters he has in his films. So I agreed, even though I had to manage it with my debut films in two other industries," she has told a leading daily. The Belli actress is excited about her Tamil and Hindi debut as well. "People have asked me why I had not tried Tamil or Hindi earlier. My debut there now is the best thing, as I've had a training ground in Kannada, but I get to start afresh in two industries, which means I can carry on longer as an actress." According to Kriti, she is having the best phase of her life. She has said, "It (Tamil & Hindi debut) wasn't planned, but I'm glad it worked out this way. I'd like to believe this is the best phase of my life. Earlier, I used to do films for visibility, but now I have the choice to wait for a good, challenging role."
