Vishal's Thimiru, which hits the screens this weekend, has been censored. The movie has been given a 'U' certificate by the officials. Tharun Gopi directs the movie that stars Vishal, Reema Sen and VJ - turned- actress Shreya Reddy in the lead roles. According to Tharun Gopi, the movie is a sequence of interesting events. It is a compilation of events in the life of a few people, who are opposite to each other. Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja has come good and the entire cast and crew have given their best efforts. Hopefully, the movie would click, he says. Producer Vikram Krishna, who produced Vishal's Sandai Kozhi before, is hopeful that Thimiru would be a successful film from their production house. Meanwhile, Vishal is currently shooting for Thamiraparani being directed by Hari.
Vishal's Thimiru successfully completed a 100-day run
Vishal's Thimiru successfully completed a 100-day run Saturday. The movie, directed by Tharun Gopi, featured Vishal and Reema Sen in lead roles. Shreya Reddy played the second heroine with a negative shade. Her performance as Eswari won her fame. Just as the film has completed an eventful run, plans are on to celebrate the success of Thimiru in a grand manner. Vishal, who has scored a hat-trick with Chellamae, Sandai Kozhi and Thimiru, elated at the 100-day run of Thimiru, said, 'After a roaring success in Sandai Kozhi, people expected me to work with an established director. However, I had faith in debutant Tharun Gopi's abilities. The script was different and had enough suspense elements in it. Every character had a role to play in the movie. It was challenging role for me and the director managed to extract the maximum from me.' Meanwhile his next film Sivappathigaram is getting ready for release. Vishal says, ' I have full faith in director Karu Palaniappan. He has handled the movie in a matured way. I am sure that it would succeed. Also my Thamiraparani (directed by Hari) would be out early next year'.
Thimir is ready
Following the huge success in Sandai Kozhi, Vishal is awaiting keenly his next Thimir. While the former helped create an action-hero image for him, the latter is said to establish a place firmly for him among mass film lovers. Directed by a debutant Tharun Gopi, the movie is produced by Vishal's brother Vikram Krishna. Reema Sen, who came along with Vishal in Chellame is paired opposite him again, while former footballer I M Vijayan plays a baddie. Says Vikram Krishna, 'All works have been completed and post production works would commence soon'. Getting ready for August release is Thimir.
Thimuru director with Maddy
The big success of Thimiru has taken director Tharun Gopi to great heights. The movie managed a stupendous show at the box office in Chennai. The Telugu version titled Poguru has also opened big. Tharun Gopi, flooded by congratulatory messages, has commenced works towards second movie. This time he teams up with Madhavan for a movie titled Agaradhi to be produced by GV Films. Yuvanshankar Raja will be composing music for the movie. Throwing light on the film, Tharun Gopi, said, 'it is a movie with twists and turns. The main character in the movie is an encounter specialist and Madhavan would fit the role well'. He would also direct a movie for Lakshmi Movie Makers. In Telugu, he is flooded with offers. He would direct Tharun for a movie titled Hyderabadilirundu Kadappa. Tharun says, 'people would expect a lot from me and I hope that I would live up to their expectations'.
KIRAN-IN THIMURU
Kiran is back, this time she's not doing heroine roles but she's doing an item number in the film THIMURU .Gangai Amaran is singing a song for the movie whis is danced by none other than our PULIKESI.The film has vishal - reema in the lead .The film is directed by Tharun Gopi Former SS Music VJ Shreya Reddy, who was once listed as one of India's Most Beautiful People, is doing a role in the film. She plays the role of a law college student in the movie. Vishal plays a medical student and Reema a psychologist. Talking about the film, Tharun says, "Both Reema and Shreya have equal footage and it is a suspense thriller which will attract a varied audience." Yuvan Shankar Raja's music is supposed to be the highlight of the film.
