'Angadi Theru' shooting stopped as the hero got injured

Bad luck came to meet the unit of director Vasantha Balan's new film 'Angadi Theru' when the hero injured himself during the shooting of a fight scene and had to be taken to the hospital. After the commercially and critically acclaimed 'Veyyil' this film is the next one being completed by Vasantha Balan having new comers Mahesh and Anjali in the lead roles. The shooting of the new film produced by Ayngaran International was going on in an old building in Villivakkam. The scene which was being canned was a fight sequence between the hero Mahesh and his friend for which the hero had to look fully soaked in water to give out the impression that he came to the building after getting wet because of a rain and run down the steps. As he was doing it, Mahesh slipped down from the stairs He fell down and got injured. The actor who was bleeding was rushed to a private hospital in Annanagar where four stitches were put up in his head. The shooting was stopped and will start again from May 31. If the movie becomes a blockbuster, then Mahesh can think of the trouble he had to take to complete the movie in a lighter vein and think of the fatal injury he got as just a hurdle which was meant to happen there to make the success of the film more sweeter to him.
