Aneesh has completed the shooting of his long time waited Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah with Jai and Nazriya Nazim in the lead roles. Debutant director Aneesh, a former assistant of Nassar appears to have completed the shooting of Jai’s Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah in one go within 10 days. Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah is the debutant project of Nazriya, even though her first release was Neram in Tamil. Presently, Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah is in its post-production works and makers are planning to release the film later this year. Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah is a rom-com set in a rich cultural background in the production of Aascar films banner with the music and background scores by M. Ghibran. Justifying a long wait after Engeyum Eppothum, Jai is anticipated to give his best for Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah.
Thirumalai ties the nuptial knot
Director Thirumalai, who directed the Karan starrer, 'Thee Nagar', has entered wedlock with Nadhiya at the Lord Venkateswara temple in Thirumalai recently. Only close friends and relatives were invited for the wedding ceremony, which was arranged by the elders of both families. An assistant director who had worked in several Hindi films, Thirumalai became director with 'Thee Nagar', an average performer at the box office. He is currently directing 'Agam Puram', which has Shaam in the lead. musicmazaa wishes Thirumalai a happy married life!!
Rajnikanth offers prayer at Tirumala
'Super Star' Rajnikanth has visited the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala near here and offered prayers in the wake of the overwhelming response to his latest blockbuster Sivaji-The Boss. 'He also made an offering in the temple hundi', the sources said. Rajni, an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateswara, had offered prayers at the hill temple on 12 June, three days before the release of the film.
Vijay's heroine for 'Thirudan Police' team
After last year’s clean entertainer ‘Thirudan Police’, Producer Selva Kumar of Kenanya Films banner, director, Caarthick Raju and lead hero ‘Attakathi’ Dinesh are pairing up again for a film titield ‘Ulkuthu’. Nandita Swetha who is one of the heroines of Vijay in his mega budget fantasy entertainer ‘Puli’ has been signed up to play the lead heroin in this film and it is the second film for her with Dinesh after their debut film ‘Attakathi’. Speaking about his second film, the director said , " Ulkuthu is a movie based on the lifestyle of Fish choppers. We discussed many coastal towns and villages for the same ,but the unanimous choice was Nagercoil. The unique culture of Nagercoil as a backdrop for this script makes plenty of difference." The film’s supporting cast will retain Bala Saravanan and John Vijay from ‘Thirudan Police’ while others include Sirman and Sharat. Chaya Singh has been deputed to essay and important female character in the film. Apart from these stunt master Dileep Subburayan will be making his onscreen debut playing an important role in this film. Music will be rendered by Justin Prabhakar PK.Varma is handling the cinematography and Praveen K.L. is doing the editing and the art is taken care by Videsh. The shooting of ‘Ulkuthu’ will kick start from August 10.
Bitten by acting bug is Thiruma
Thol Thirumavalavan is a busy politician. But bitten by the acting, the politician-turned-actor has been evincing keen interest to act in films. His maiden venture Anbu Thozhi is yet to see the light of the day, but that has not deterred Thiruma from accepting a slew of offers on the big screen. He has appeared in a song sequence for Mansoor Alikhan's Ennai Par Yogam Varum. Now Thiruma has been cast as the hero in a movie titled Kalagam. Directed by M Kalanjiyam, Kalanjiam has opted for Thiruma to play the protagonist. A grand photo session for the movie was held recently featuring Thirumavalavan. As the title suggests, the movie has a mass theme. Srikanth Deva scores the music for the movie.
Dhanush More Than One offers prayers at Tirumala
Dhanush had more than one reason to offer prayers to Lord Balaji at the Tirumala Tirupathi hill shrine on Sunday morning, where he reassured reporters that “Superstar Rajinikanth will return India very soon.” The actor was at the world-renowned temple for the tonsure of his sister’s son. Accompanied by father Kasthuriraja and other members of the family, he entered the temple at 3 am on Rs 300 per head ticket. Talking to journalists later, Dhanush said, “Rajini is completely alright. He will be back in Chennai in the next 15 days. The Superstar will kickstart Rana once he returns and will gift it to his fans.” Dhanush was with his Superstar father-in-law in Singapore for more than two weeks. “Rajini sir is now having a whale of time in Singapore by watching films and by playing with his grandsons. He is full of energy.”
