Naren, who made it big in Kollywood with Chithiram Pesuthadi, has finally ended his long wait. He has taken up his next venture in Kollywood after a long wait. He would play the lead role in a movie to be produced by director Saran in his Gemini Productions to be directed by his one-time associate Satheesh. Search for a heroine is on. Naren was earlier tipped to act in a movie titled Pallikoodam to be directed by Thangar Bachchan. However the movie was shelved later. Since then, Naren was listening to several scripts before zeroing in on Saran's home production. A cautious start indeed for Naren in Tamil.

Thalapathy Vijay's Mersal directed by Atlee is creating many box office records. Its a known fact the film has faced a lot of protests from few politicians for its dialogues about GST and Digital money. In fact, there was a press release today evening from the producers who said the controversial scenes would be removed if needed. But, Hema Rukmani, CEO of Thenandal Studios Limited tweeted, "No scenes cut or muted in #Mersal Enjoy #Thalapathy swag. Poomanathu Pichaatha thunai #SilakkiDum #TSL100 #PeaceBro @ThenandalFilms."
Ninnu Kori Team Party In Goa
'Ninnu Kori' is the latest film of Nani. The movie is running well the box office and turning out to be one of the career best films of Nani. Hero Nani himself doubted that this film may not be received well by rural audience because of its urban feel and class narration. But all sections of audience have received the film well. Industry persons are saying that 'Ninnu Kori' turned out to be a bigger hit than the film unit expected. 'Ninnu Kori' team has conducted a success meet in Vijayawada recently. This success meet is for the audience. Then what about the success celebrations Nani & his team ? Nani, Aadhi Pinisetty.. Kona Venkat.. Shiva Nirvana.. etc have reportely planned a Goa tour to celebrate the success. Nani is presently working on 'MCA' in the direction of Venu Sriram. Nani said to have given a break to 'MCA' team to join with 'Ninnu Kori' team for Goa trip. Nani said to be thrilled with the success of 'Ninnu Kori'.. even the producer DVV Danayya.. co-producer Kona Venkat are very happy with the success. That's the reason why they have planned Goa party. They are going to have fun time in Goa till Sunday. Nani will join 'MCA' shoot on Monday as usual.
Dhanush Is Not Coming!
It appears like a festive season for Tollywood as several Telugu films are slated for release continuously from the last week of July to Dussehra. Some filmmakers are worried and they are anxious because many films are releasing every week and the competition is high. Some of them are in confusion to pick a suitable date for their film. Tamil hero Dhanush is popular among Telugu audience. His popularity has increased with 'Raghuvaran B.Tech'. He is coming up with a sequel to this film titled 'VIP 2'. Soundarya Rajinikanth directed this film. Bollywood actress Kajol is playing a nagative character. They have initially planned to release the film on July 28. Latest buzz reveals that the release will be delayed. Few Telugu films are releasing on the same day and box office competition will be high. Moreover post-production works are still pending for Telugu version of 'VIP 2'. Considering these things, makers have postponed it and they are looking at August release. But the competition in August.. September.. October is further more. They are also in dilemma about the release date. We have to wait and see whether they will release Tamil version as per the schedule or postpone it for Telugu version.
Varun Tej Hopes On Fidaa Movie
Another interesting Telugu film is releasing today. It is Sekhar Kammula-Varun Tej combo 'Fidaa'. The result of this film is very crucial to the 'Fidaa' team members. It is important for director .. Hero.. Heroine in particular. Mega hero Varun Tej's debut film 'Mukunda' didn't give the expected result. He achieved good recognition and success with 'Kanche'. But he tasted back to back disasters with mass entertainers like 'Loafer'.. 'Mister' later. Varun has pinned all his hopes on 'Fidaa' now. The success of 'Fidaa' is very important for Varun's career. On the other hand director Sekhar Kammula doesn't have a solid hit after 'Happy Days'. Heroine Sai Pallavi achieved wonderful recognition with Malayalam film 'Premam'. 'Fidaa' is her debut film in Telugu.. and the success is important for her career. It appears that Sai Pallavi will be highlighted in the film if we watch 'Fidaa' promos. If the movie succeeds at the box office, she will get more credit after the director. There is no doubt that performance-wise she will dominate Varun in the film. But it'll be difficult for Varun to get the credit if the movie turns out to be success. He will get a huge relief.. that's it. If the movie fails at the box office, he is going to be at the receiving end after Sekhar Kammula. People will call him hattick flop hero. Let us wait for some more time to find out the result of 'Fidaa'.
