Majnu teaser gets a thumbs up
Right from the day the first look was out, Virinchi Varma's 'Majnu' has been seen as a new-age film. The teaser, released today, only reinforces this. Watching Nani getting melancholic while listening to Maestro Ilaiyaraja's 'Prema ledani.. Premincha radani'' is absolutely entertaining. He is, on the face of it, out to get the laurels for being an incorrigible natural. It's natural, as they say. Peppered with visuals of Anu Emmanuel, the teaser hints at coming with an authentic rom-com. High on the success of KVPG and Gentleman this year, Nani is all set for this third. The movie will hit the screens in September (announced with an 'vacchetunna' by Nani himself . Directed by Virinchi Varma of Uyyala Jampala fame, Nani is paired up with Anu Emmanuel (of Mollywood) and Riya Ludhani, a Mumbai-based model. The first look had Nani smiling in his quintessential style. Gesturing at a teddy, he wore a tee with the words 'Ori nee veshalu' written on it. An old-style gramophone completes the charm. While music is by Gopi Sundar, the cinematography is by Gnanasekhar. It is produced by Anandi Arts and Keva Movies.

Stunning former model Mamta Raja has graced the covers of many fashion magazines and endorsed brands like Vimal, Lakme, Thums up etc. She has now stepped away from the arc lights to pursue her passion designing handbags and shoes and is currently in the process of decorating her store with her interior decorator Sameer. 'December is my favorite month says as it begins with my store opening, then it's my little princess Sasha's birthday (her daughter) on December 12th, then Christmas and it ends with a New Year's Eve bash,' she says.
Thanga Meengal' gets thumbs up from Tamil film industry
"Thanga Meengal", set to release July 26, has already won the hearts of the people from the industry, including filmmakers such as Venkat Prabhu and Ramasamy. Directed by Ramsubramaniam, "Thanga Meengal" is based on the relationship of a father and his daughter. " 'Thanga Meengal' (is) a heartwarming movie. (I) watched it with my daughter! Both of us loved it! Awesome performances from everyone! Don't miss it," filmmaker Venkat Prabhu posted on his Twitter page. Filmmaker Seenu Ramasamy also took to the microblogging platform, and described the film as "realistic" and "touchable". Popular Tamil lyricist Madhan Karky said, "'Thanga Meengal' is not just a father-daughter movie. It has something meaningful to offer to everyone, especially for parents and teachers." Director Ram plays the lead in the film, alongside child artist Sadhana, who plays his daughter. Shelly Kishore, Padmapriya and Rohini will be seen in important roles. "Thanga Meengal" is produced by filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon along with Reshma Ghatala and Venkat Somasundaram.
Union Minister gives thumbs up for Brahmotsavam
'Brahmotsavam' might have tanked at the Box Office for reasons like poor execution & bad editing. Still, There are people who loved the family drama and a Union Minister is one among them. Addressing the media soon after the private screening, Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu opined 'Brahmotsavam' have a good message and it preaches Joint Families are the best. He appreciated Srikanth Addala for taking up such a concept in present times where everyone is so busy in their day-to-day life. The Union Minister felt Mahesh Babu has underplayed so well and his performance is lovable. He lauded the rich production values of PVP Cinema. In the end, He told, 'Its the audience who decide whether its commercially viable or not'. Some time ago, Venkaiah Naidu commented Mahesh Babu is the most good looking Hero we have. Last year, He even attended the screening of 'Srimanthudu' and heaped praises on Superstar.
Hrithik Roshan: Always aim to get thumbs up from fans
Actor Hrithik Roshan, whose "Mohenjo Daro" trailer has been lauded for its scale, is happy about getting a positive feedback for it from his fans. "We all have worked very hard on this film and so we were super excited to present our trailer to the audiences. My fans mean the world to me and getting a thumbs up from them is all I ever aim for," Hrithik said in a statement. The "Bang Bang!" star says he is "truly humbled with the response and all the lovely messages" that have come his way. Hrithik shines in the trailer as Sarman, an indigo farmer in search of his association with the town of Mohenjo Daro. His look and the attention given to the minute details like the skin tone and appearance have been appreciated by the audience.
