The Ex Eye-Candy-Man of Sushmita Sen, Randeep Hooda is making rapid strides in patching up with his mentor Ram Gopal Verma with whom he had some differences after the failure of 'D'. Verma and Hooda are reportedly coming together in a film tentatively titled Badla which will be directed by Ramu himself in a twenty day schedule in July in areas around Mumbai. It is rumored that only when RGV is through with Badla that he would start work on his ambitious Sholay. According to sources Randeep's performance in one of the stories (directed by Chakravorthy) in a recent Factory product Darna Zaroori Hai went down well with the Big Boss and he thought of casting him in this psychological thriller with its dose of horror. There are going to be two lead actresses. Manisha Koirala and Urmila Matondkar are being considered for the two roles. Randeep insists that he never had any difference with Ramu, but the insiders within the Factory have a different take on the subject. It has repeatedly come to light that Hooda also had major issues with Darna Zaroori Hai director Chakravorthy. After his split with Sush, Hooda boy has been acting finicky in real life. Although he claims that Sen would always be a part of his life, the leggy Bong babe has already moved onto her next boyfriend. In the meanwhile, Randeep is busy finishing up with Vishram Sawant's next venture, suggestively titled Risk. Incidentally, Risk also happens to be the film with which Remix-Pasha DJ Akbar Sami is making his debut as a music composer. Here's hoping that a talented actor like Randeep Hooda shall find more time to focus on his work rather than being in news for failed relationships and temper tantrums.
Mithun and Ratnam together
A plan was made several years ago that did not materialize. Mithun and Mani Ratnam had decided to work in a Tamil film Anandam. But that was several years ago. The plan did not materialize because Mani wanted Mithun to chop his hair short. Mithun then was working on 15 other projects that wanted his hair to be long. So the plans remained plans. Now they have once again teamed up for Mani's next film Guru. Mithun will be shooting for the film from 15th May to 15th June. This film co incidentally requires Mithun to have short hair for which he is completing all his other films before 15th May. He plays a socialist in the film. It is a positive character. The film is set in the 1960's. The film has Abhishek and Aishwarya in the lead.
Isha and Amrita together in Raakh
The sex bombs Isha Koppikar and Amrita Arora are back after Girlfriend in movie Raakh which is a dark thriller and Sohail Khan is in the lead. This time they are quite heterosexual unlike their previous film together.
DON team comes together on the small screen
Much before Farhan Akhtar's 'Don' hits the screen, the star cast of the film have decided to keep their fans happy by making a small screen appearance at the least. Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor, all the three have now faced the camera and have made a way into your living rooms. Yes, you read it right as the three stars have shot for the latest Pepsi commercial where SRK plays a common man looking forward to installation of PEPSI TV at his home while both the pretty ladies play PEPSI representatives. Colorful and breezy, just like most of Pepsi commercials [with SRK's 'sapera' act being an exception], it features SRK as a perky youngster, Priyanka as a sweet'n'nice girl while Kareena appearing as a hotty with an attitude. A good impression with the very first strike from the team of DON!
Bobby and Abhishek together
Yash Raj Films and Shaad Ali have come together with yet another striking on-screen pair. After hit film of Shaad, Bunty Aur Babli it's now "Jhoom Barabar Jhoom" with Bobby Deol and Abhishek Bachchan as the new combo. Their fathers Dharmendra and Amitabh Bachchan had made a hit pair in Sholay. Shaad Ali is also assisting Mani Ratnam in his film 'Guru' as his assistant director. Let's see how the Bobby-Abhishek duo creates magic on screen.
Kim-Hrishita come together in two films
Kim Sharma has all the reasons to smile as her 'Machiwaali' act in 'Tom Dick and Harry' has been lapped up by the masses. Things only should turn out to be better for her as she is seen in multiple flicks in coming months. Though none of them boast of a big banner or notable names per se, there are still projects aplenty that should keep her in news. Two of such films that may be talked about are the 'Khaffa' and 'Tumhare Liye' for the sole reason being that her co-star in both the movies is Hrishita Bhatt. Both the films being multistarrers, while 'Khaffa' has Jimmy Shergill and Rahul Handa as the male leads, 'Tumhare Liye' has the 'Qayamat' brothers Sanjay Kapoor and Arbaaz Khan reuniting.
