Varun Khannas Kismat Bole Toh?
Varun Khanna is back with his latest venture 'Kismat Bole Toh'?' This project sees popular TV personality Gaurav Kapur and Hrishitaa Bhatt in the lead roles. The film has completed principal photography in 25 days and is currently in post production stages. Kismat Bole Toh'? is the story of an obsessive compulsive young man, who has an unbelievable disconnect with the higher powers of the universe. This action-drama-comedy is the journey of the unfortunate protagonist, six madcap bhai bookies, and a gorgeous nurse, as their collective fates intervene and explode in more ways than one. The film also stars Vrajesh Hirjee, Govind Namdev, Parmeet Sethi, Ganesh Yadav, Lalit Mohan Tiwari and Zakir Husain. The flick is the third feature film by Varun Khanna. His first two were English features, critically acclaimed Oscar submission, 'Beyond Honor' and the family drama 'American Blend' starring Anupam Kher, 'E.T.'s Dee Wallace Stone, and British TV star David Oyelowo. Other credits for this project include music by Abu Malik, cinematography by David Chalker, background score by Kevin Saunders Hayes, choreography by Jasmin Oza and action sequences by Masood Patel. Kismat Bole Toh'? is slated to release in the second quarter of this year and is produced by Khanna's newly formed production house - Mixed Blood Cinema.
Mika 'thanks' Imtiaz, Rahman for 'Heer toh...'
Singer Mika Singh, who has collaborated with Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman for the new song "Heer toh badi sad hai" from Imtiaz Ali's forthcoming film "Tamasha", says he is grateful to the duo for the opportunity. "Thanks to Rahman saab and Imtiaz Ali for offering me such a beautiful rendition, and also Irshad Kamli who has penned down wonderful lyrics for the song," Mika said at the launch event of a Punjabi radio channel here on Monday. The song will feature Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone swinging to the tunes made by the talented trio. "For the first time I am crooning for Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir has done lip-sync with full passion and enthusiasm. Deepika is also looking very pretty in the song. I am contented that people loved the song," Mika said. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, "Tamasha" is slated to release on November 27.
Taapsee Pannu, Saqib Saleem romance in Tum Ho Toh Lagta Hai song
Bhushan Kumar is back with a romantic and heartfelt music video ‘Tum Ho Toh Lagta Hai’ which features actors Taapsee Pannu and Saqib Saleem. The love story in the music video sadly doesn’t has a happy ending. It is a ballad about two love birds that have been together since they were kids but Saqib’s interest in art distanced them. After Saqib fulfills his dreams and comes back to claim his love forever, he looses Taapsee.
