Chiranjeevi needs no new accolades. He has seen it all and done it all. But there is one more to his long list of admirers. And it is none other than his heroine in his new movie Stalin. In this radical movie, Trisha plays his heroine while Kushboo his sister. Trisha who has attended the film's shoot has been bowled over by Chiru's charm and ease. Directed by Murugadoss, the Stalin has just started rolling. Trisha who recently attended the film's shoot felt Chiru was fabulous. Meanwhile, Trisha has Pournami and Sainikudu in Telugu and most probably Dasavatharam with Kamal Hassan in Tamil lined up.
Trisha is gung-ho
The greatest thing about Trisha is that she has managed to balance between Tamil and Telugu filmdom pretty adroitly. The bubbly actress is certainly the number one actress in both the languages despite the rising competition, especially from the pretty young things from Mumbai. Trisha has managed that without being extremely glamorous or out and out sensuous. She has managed to do things in moderation --- a quality not given to many. Trisha is extremely keen that she keeps going both in Telugu and Tamil. In Telugu, she has Pournami almost ready. And she has Sainikudu with Mahesh Babu. She is hoping to have a hat-trick of hits for MS Raju through Pournami after Varsham and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. The movie stars Prabhas and Prabhu Deva directs it. After that she has the high-profile Stalin with Chiranjeevi. And the big news is that in Bangaram she is not just dancing for a song. Sources aver that she has a small role to play. But in the contest of both Tamil and Telugu industries, she has a big role to play.
Trisha praying hard for success
First things first! The first big release of the season 'Sri Ramadasu' has succeeded. Now, the second big release of the season is 'Pournami'. So, heroine Trisha must be praying hard for the success of the film. It is likely to hit the silver screens in the third week of this month. This pretty girl is going through a rough phase in Kollywood. She has only two films 'Bheema' with Vikram and 'Something Something' with Ravi. Her role in 'Bheema' is not yet confirmed. Her career in Tollywood too looks thin, as she has only 'Stalin' with Chiranjeevi. So, she badly needs 'Pournami' to do well at the box-office in order to get back to her den. 'Pournami' is also a test for Prabhu Deva, as this is his second directorial venture after the success of 'Nu Vasthanante Ne Vaddantana'. However, it is unlikely to falter, as the combination of Trisha, Prabhu Deva and Producer MS Raju is really hot and happening. But the true color is going to surface only when it hits the theatres.
Trisha as a teaser
Some Trisha fans were a bit let down with the kind of small role that she got in Pournami. Though hers was the title role, her character had limited scope. Meanwhile, there is some news on her dance number in Bangharam, starring Pawan Kalyan. Sources say that though Trisha has a samll role and a dance number in the movie, as a teaser promotion, it will be introduced in the film only after the second week of the film's release. It is an attempt to woo the audience in the latter part of the release.
Trisha to play opposite Nagarjuna
Yuva Samrat Nagarjuna, who proved his stamina that he has an excellent mass image with 'Mass', is again doing another film under the direction of Raghava Lawrence. The film is being produced by ML Kumar Choudary. However, this latest flick's muhurat was fixed on December 23, the day on which 'Mass' was released. But the regular shoot would begin from January. After completing all the post-production formalities, the film would be released as a summer special. When it comes to the female lead, Trisha is chosen as the heroine, who had several hits to her credit including Varsham, Athadu and Stalin.
Trisha optimistic about Sainikudu
Trisha is optimistic that Sainikudu would collect huge revenue and emerge a blockbuster. Sainikudu, starring Mahesh Babu and directed by Guna Sekhar, was made on Rs 30-crore budget. Amidst great expectations the movie got released last week. Trisha, currently shooting for director Selvaraghavan's Telugu movie in Rajahmundry, says, 'I gave my best in the movie. Personally, I feel it is one of the best films that I have acted in. The opening has been fabulous and I am confident that it would sustain the collection.' Trisha, who is cast opposite Ajith in Kireedom, will join the sets on 11 December. 'With good movies in both Tamil and Telugu, I am confident that 2007 would take me a step higher in my career,' she adds.
