Buzz making vibes in Kollywood tinsel town that music director Yuvan Shankar Raja is gearing up to play the lead in an upcoming Tamil film to be directed by Chakri Toleti of Billa 2 and Unnaipol Oruvan. Director Chakri Toleti hasn’t given any conclusion on the project but said, “It is too early to comment on the reports. Presently I’m working on couple of scripts in which I’ll be associating with Yuvan Shankar Raja in multiple capacities and he is even composing for my short film too.” It is worth mentioning that Chakri has earlier worked with Yuvan in his last release Ajith’s Billa 2 with Bruna Abdullah and Parvathy Omanakuttan.
Vikram Bhatt choses Ganesh Venkatraman
Young actor Ganesh Venkatraman, who played a police officer role in ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’, is going great in his career. The actor, who is working for the film ‘Muriyadi’ with Sathyaraj, has been roped in by Vikram Bhatt, bollywood’s top director. Recent reports say that the movie will be a bilingual making a mark of Vikram Bhatt into South. It was also said that Vikram has chosen Ganesh after seeing his film ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’, and considered him as the right choice in his upcoming film. Ganesh, who celebrate dhis birthday recently, says “This could be my greatest birthday gift. But I can’t say much about it till an official announcement is made. I will surely reveal more details as soon as possible.” On speaking about his Malayalam film ‘Casanova’ with Mohanlal he says “It’s a delight to work with Mohanlal again. We might start shooting from April.”
Shruthi is surprised the reports Kannada film
Shruthi Haasan is surprised with the reports which claimed that she would croon for a Kannada film titled ‘Prithvi’, starring Puneet Rajakumar in the lead role. “This is news to me” she says. The actress-music composer however says she is interested to work in a Kannada movie if she is approached. “Why not? I will surely work for a Kannada film if the project is exciting” is her take. The elder daughter of the versatile Kamal Haasan claims her singing career started more than a decade ago when his father was making ‘Hey Ram’. “Not many know that I have worked on a song in Hey Ram,” she says. On scoring music for her dad’s last release ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’, she says, “it was indeed challenging. Because I was well aware that expectations would be so high when it is a Kamal film. I hope I have not spoiled the show.”
