As a unique promotional strategy for the music of 'Unns', the songs from the film are allowed to be downloaded for free. The film has music by Sujeet Shetty (who had earlier composed for 'Hum Dum' last year) and lyrics by Shaheen Iqbal. A film by Bupender J. Gupta, 'Unns' stars Sanjay Kapoor, Sudhanshu Pandey, Rituparna Sengupta and Juhi Babbar. A sensitive story of love and emotions, 'Unns' is dedicated to Late Sunil Dutt. The film tells the tale of two individuals, Rahul [Sanjay Kapoor] and Ria [Rituparna Sengupta], who were married to each other but boasted of only one-sided love. The film also highlights the fact that the institution of marriage is the most celebrated institution across globe. It is considered to be unshakable and undeterred even if a volcano of problems erupts. One hears about live-in relationships, divorces, broken marriages, child living with a single parent - but still such cases form a negligible part of the society that still believes that marriages are there to stay. Because every marriage is tied by one single thread - 'Unns'. 'Unns' that stands for love, affection, passion.
Unns Releases with Very Few Prints
Celebrities and starcast of Sanjay Kapoor's long awaited 'Unns''Love Forever had a blast at the premiere of the film at Metro Adlabs yesterday. Presented by Buneesha Films, the film is a musical love story narrated by 1st time novelist (Juhi Babbar) and how her life undergoes personal turbulence with Rituparna Sengupta and Sanjay Kapoor in her life. Present at the event were Director Bhupendra Gupta, Sanjay Kapoor, Rituparna Sengupta and Dhianu Das of DAS Music. The film has music by Sujeet Shetty and Lyrics by Shaheen Iqbal. It is a much delayed project that looks promising at the outset, but it's sad that 'Unns' is finally releasing in very few theatres in Mumbai. Maybe a talented actress like Rituparno Sengupta (National Award Winner for her Bengali film 'Dahan') to make a mark in Bollywood.
Juhi's next releases is 'Unns'
Raj Babbar's daughter Juhi Babbar didn't really have a dream debut when she arrived on the big screen with 'Kaash Aap Hamare Hote'. Making her debut with singer Sonu Nigam who himself was attempting to make his presence felt in front of the camera, the film failed to create any ripples at the box office. A talented theatre actor otherwise, she chose to take it slow and after a gap of a couple of years was seen once again for a film, this time in Punjabi language. Coming along with Jimmy Shergill, she starred in 'Yaara Naal Bahaaran' that turned out to be a decent success in the northern belt of India and overseas. Now she would be seen in a pivotal role in the movie 'Unns' that is a mature drama about two couples and how their lives change their shape due to their past. An actor who is considered to be selective about the work that she does, Juhi should have really found something highly interesting about this Bhupendra Gupta film that also stars Sanjay Kapoor, Rituparna Sengupta and Sudhanshu Pandey.
Priya Dutt Releases the Music of the Movie "UNNS"
The maker of the film Bhupender Gupta said that the Mahurat of the film was done by Sunil Dutt Saheb. The movie UNNS is dedicated to Late Sunil Dutt Ji, as for the first time in the film industry the first shot was done and directed by Sunil Dutt on 24the Mar'05. Speaking about the music, the director of the film said that the music is supported by equally aesthetic theme based by background score, medium to highly charged emotions balanced with light moments form the highlight of this unforgettable 2 hours 25 minutes socially sentient family drama. The glazing star cast of UNNS who were present in the event were Sanjay Kapoor, Rituparna Sengupta, Sudhanshu Pandey, Sujeet Shetty the Music Director, Lyrics writer Shaahen Iqbal and Producer and Director Bhupendra Gupta also the politicians who were associated with the venture of the music launch were Mukul Vashnik (General Secretary of All India Council), Pawan Kumar Bansal (Ministry of State Finance), Sanjay Dutt, Baba Siddiqui (Urban Development Minister of Maharashtra Government), Dhyanu Dass (Das Music). Rituparna said that the music of the film goes with the theme and the public will highly acknowledge it. Sanjay Kapoor present on the occasion said that Music of the film has been composed keeping in minding the current taste of the public. The critically acclaimed Music Album has 6 meaningful and melodious Songs sung by Versatile Singers like Sonu Nigam, Abhijeet, Alka Yagnik, Udit Narayan, Shreya Ghoshal and Sunidhi Chauhan. The music has been released by the music company Das Music.
Common factor between 'Zamaanat', 'Rehguzar', 'Aryan' and 'Unns'
What's the common factor between 'Zamaanat', 'Rehguzar', 'Aryan' and 'Unns'? Apart from the obvious observation that each of them is slated to release in November, the other similarity in each of the flicks is that they have been heavily delayed products with number of instances when they came close to being released. 'Zamaanat' takes the cake since it has been a decade long in the making but the other three are not quite fresh too. Whether it is 'Rehguzar', 'Aryan' or 'Unns', each of them have seen their promotion beginning only to come at a sudden halt without any indication. While 'Rehguzar' is about the plight of youth who look at greener pastures for a career growth, 'Aryan' is a commercial entertainer about a boxer who finds the mission in his life whereas 'Unns' is a tale of love and infidelity.
