Kamal Haasan's Uthama Villain Teaser that was released on 1st of March has crossed more than 2.5 lakhs views with in first 2 days of release. Actor and director Ramesh Aravind will wield the megaphone for Uthama Villain to be produced by Kamal Haasan himself in association with N. Lingusamy on his Thirupathi Brothers banner. Ghibran is the music director for the film. Uttama Villain set for September 10 release
Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain is nearing completion and the movie is left with 15 days of shoot schedule which will be wrapped by July. The filmmakers are planning to release the film on September 10 release. Ramesh Aravind is wielding the megaphone for the movie and the current schedule is taking place in lavishly erected in sets in Chennai. Crucial scenes of eight century are being filmed. Uttama Villain Releases on Oct 2?
Universalstar Kamal Haasan's Uttama Villain release is being planned for Gandhi Jayamthi, on October 2nd. Uttama Villain is the joint production venture of Lingusamy's Thirrupathi Brothers and Kamal's Raaj Kamal Films banner. Anil, a distributor from Kerala has reportedly blocked Shenoys Ernakulam theaters for the four days longest weekend from Oct 2-4. Directed by actor Ramesh Aravind, Uttama Villain has recently wrapped shooting. Pooja Kumar, Jayaram, Andrea, Parvathi, Nasser, Urvashi, Parvathy Nair and others are part of Uttama Villain cast. Uttama Villain music is by M. Ghibran.
'Uttama Villain' producers to settle all dues before release
The producers of Kamal Haasan-starrer "Uttama Villain", which releases in cinemas on May 1, have given an undertaking in Madras High Court that they will settle all dues before release. On Friday, producers N. Lingusamy and his brother N. Chandra Bose of Thirrupathi Brothers have assured to repay a loan of Rs.2 crore with interest to Thangam Cinemas. According to an agreement, Thirrupathi Brothers had to give the copyright and distribution of "Uttama Villain" to Thangam Cinemas if the loan was not repaid before the release of the film. Thangam Cinemas moved to court after a cheque given by the producers bounced. When the case came for hearing, the produces promised to settle the loan on or before April 28. Justice K. Ravichandra babu posted the case for April 28.
