The fans of Nandamuri Balakrishna have come up with a novel concept to pay tribute to their favorite star. Fans have decided to screen the Nandamuri star's 99 films on 99 days - each day a film of Balayya - at Archana theatre in Proddutur of Cuddapah district where Legend has been playing since its release on March 27,2014. This will be initiated from Oct 5th, 2016 (Wednesday) and will be screened upto Jan 11, 2017 (Wednesday). In order to make it reality, the fans of Balayya have took special effort in gathering the prints of the actor's 99 films with good quality for the special screening. On the 100th day, (Jan 12, 2017), Balayya's landmark 100th film Gautamiputra Satakarni being directed by Krish Jagarlamudi will be screened at the theatre and it would be done with grand celebration. Meanwhile, director Krish has zeroed in on the dates for the GPS' first look and teaser launches. While the film's first look will be unveiled on Oct 9, the teaser will be launched on Oct 11th at auspicious muhurat 8 AM. The film's audio would be done in Amaravati with AP CM Chandrababu Naidu as the chief guest and a date of event is yet to be finalised. Balakrishnas in a song
Producer Shivalenk Krishna Prasad has earlier produced 'Aditya 369', 'Vamsanikokkadu' on Sridevi Movies banner. Now, he is in his current venture with Balakrishna starring the lead in his production who is pitted for the first time against actress Priyamani. The movie was launched on 10th October on Vaishnavi Cinemas banner at State Arts Gallery, Hyderabad. This Balakrishna's movie is being directed by Mahadev, an aide of Rajamouli, the director of hat-tricks as his maiden trial. The film planned to be shot in Malaysia and Rajamundry has now been commenced with the canning of a song featuring the leads, at Ramoji film city. Kola Bhaskar edits this movie and the camera is cranked by Bala Murugan. Manisharma composes the music for this ongoing project.
Balakrishna's next started
Vaishnavi Cinema's produces the next movie of Balakrishna starring Priyamani alongside him which was launched on 10th October on the auspicious day. This movie is produced by the erstwhile blockbusters maker S Krishna Prasad of Vamsanikokkadu, Aditya 369 starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead. The muhurtham shot was canned at State Art Gallery, Hyderabad which was the venue of the movie launch. The clapboard for this first was handled by Venkatesh on NBK and Priyamani. SS Rajamouli directed the first scene after the camera was switched on by senior director K Raghavendra Rao. The movie is being directed by Mahadev, an aide of the director of hat-tricks Rajamouli who makes his debut trial. The flick has started filming in the locales which will be continued in Rajamundry and Malaysia in a single schedule. Sivalenka Krishna, producer of the movie is confident to finish the movie by February. Kola Bhaskar edits this movie and the camera is cranked by Bala Murugan. Manisharma composes the music for NBK's next.
Balakrishna had two more films in hand
Director Sreenu Vaitla tasted a sore experience from the people of Telugu film industry after a couple of failures. He eagerly awaited as to who could give him an opportunity again. With the success of 'Dhee', his fate changed and offers started pouring in to direct films. Now he is in a dilemma as to whose film he had to select. As of now Sreenu Vaitla is busy with 'Ready' (Denikaina) being produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore on the banner of Sri Sravanthi Movies, with Ram of 'Jagadam'-fame and Genelia in the female lead. Now he is getting ready to direct 'King' of Nagarjuna. Sources in Film Nagar sources say, 'Sreenu Vaitla signed the dotted line to direct Balakrishna in the first half of 2009. Already Balakrishna had agreed to do a film under the direction of SS Rajamouli in 2008. Sreenu Vaitla's film with Balakrishna is likely to be produced by S Krishna Prasad of Sridevi Movies. The same banner had earlier produced several films with Balakrishna like, 'Aditya 369, Vamsanikokkadu and Bhalevadivi Basu' on the same banner. The script, however, is yet to get ready.
Sreenu Vaitla to direct Balakrishna
Sridevi Movies, which had produced hit films like 'Vamsanikokkadu' and 'Aditya 369' with Balakrishna is planning another film with the same hero. The producer reportedly selected Sreenu Vaitla as director as he gave a blockbuster like 'Dhee' recently. Presently, Balakrishna is busy with his film 'Pandurangadu' and after that he may likely to work in the direction of Gunasekhar for the film 'Sadhu'. At the same time, Sreenu Vaitla is also presently busy with his film 'Ready (Denikaina)' with Ram of 'Devadasu'-fame. After this, Sreenu Vaitla agreed to do a film 'King' with Nagarjuna as hero. In view of all these commitments, the film by Sridevi Movies may go to sets in December. The combination of Balakrishna and Sreenu Vaitla could bring a good entertainer.
Balakrishna considering a film with Srinu Vaitla
Srinu Vaitla who has made the successful Dhee and Dubai Sreenu is back in the race. According to those close to Balakrishna, it is being said that he could sign a film for Vaitla after he finishes shooting for Okka Mogadu. YVS Choudhary's film should be complete over the weekend and should start the post-production work by next week. It is said that Balakrishna could be signing the film in all probability for Sridevi Movies as he had already worked for them for Vamsanikokkadu and Aditya 369.
