More news →'Veduka' gets ready for release
The audio of 'Veduka' directed by Jitender Y and produced by Venkateswara Rao Ponnamaneni on the banner of Akshaya Films with Raja of 'Anand'-fame and Poonam Bajwa in the lead, which was released into the market, is getting a positive response. Anu Mehta of 'Arya'-fame is playing an important role in the flick. Noted director Kala Tapaswi K Viswanath is appearing in another special role. Producer says, 'The performance of Raja and Poonam Bajwa would remain a highlight of the movie. We are making it as a very good family entertainer. It is a privilege for our banner that a great director like Viswanath played the role of a family head in our film. Though we are novices, we were able to do a film with such a huge casting with senior artistes. Our film is in post-production stage and we are planning to release the film during this month.'
Veduka, a sweet experience
The shooting of 'Veduka' directed by Jitender Y and produced by Ponnamaneni Venkateswara Rao on the banner of Akshaya films with Raja, Poonam Bajwa and Anu Mehta in the lead was completed recently. Post-production works are in progress now. Speaking on the occasion, producer says, 'Our film 'Veduka' could be watched by the entire family by sitting together. The entire story revolves around a beautiful house. The audio was released into the market recently and is getting tremendous response. Anoop Rubens gave fantastic tunes to all the songs. We are planning to release the film on May 18.' K Viswanath, Sudha and others are in the cast. Lyrics are by Veturi, Chandrabose and Anant Sriram, cinematography is by Bharani while editing is by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
'Veduka' to hit screen on May 31
The audio of 'Veduka' directed by Jitender Y and produced by Ponnamaneni Venkateswara Rao on the banner of Akshaya Films with Raja, Poonam Bajwa in the lead, which was released recently is getting a positive response. The producer held a meet to reveal the release date. He says, 'Anoop gave melodious tunes to all the songs. The success of the audio had hiked the expectations on the success of our movie and we believe that as a good omen. The way the characters of Raja and Poonam Bajwa were moulded was quite different and would be very attractive to the audiences. I wish the film would give a good break to Raja. I compliment our director Jitender for moulding 'Veduka' in an attractive way.' Director Jitender says, 'The audiences had a habit of welcoming different movies. I believe that our film 'Veduka' would give a new experience to the audiences. The entire film is quite interesting and would do complete justice to the title.'
Vedika to pair up with Kalyanram
It is well aware that Samudra is producing a film in his own direction with Kalyanram as hero. He chose to remake 'Sivakasi' produced by AM Ratnam in Tamil. Earlier, it was said that Pawan Kalyan would do that film, after that the names of Stylish Star Allu Arjun and Young Rebel Star Prabhas were made rounds. However, none of them gave nod to the film due to some unavoidable circumstances. It is now reliably learnt that Kalyanram had accepted to do the film and finalised the deal by signing the dotted line. The film has sentiment within brothers, between brother and sister, besides mother and son in its backdrop, in addition to action. It is further learnt that Vedika, the heroine of Muni, was asked for dates to play heroine in this film. Music director Srikanth Deva, who gave music to the original version, had agreed to work for the Telugu remake also. The film is most likely to go to sets in the first week of May.
'Shankar Dada Zindabad' audio at Shilpa Kala Vedika
The audio of 'Shankar Dada Zindabad' directed by noted choreographer-turned-director Prabhudeva and produced on the banner of Gemini Film Circuits, with Padma Bhushan, Mega Star, Dr Chiranjeevi and Karishma Katak in the lead is all set for release through Aditya Music at Shilpa Kala Vedika of Shilparamam in Hyderabad on July 4 at a grand function. It is reliably learnt that Pawan Kalyan not only made a special appearance and played a guest role in the film, but also shook his legs along with the Mega Star. Another speciality is that the Mega Star had danced a huge dance bit in a song in a single shot and this would definitely enthral the Mega Star fans. It is well aware that the Nizam Area distribution rights were bagged by Siri Media for a whopping Rs 8.5 crores.
Chiru to address from Praja Ankita Vedika
It is scheduled as the actor-politician will arrive to the stage around 5:00 PM and get blessings from his mother. He also expected to address the audience for about more than an hour. Chiru finally announced much expected party name as PRAJA RAJYAM means Peoples Rule at the venue in Tirupati. During the course he will reveal name of the party, party flag, symbol and agenda. The stage is named as Praja Ankita Vedika and designed attractively with digital technology. Later he will hoist flag atop the pole put up at the venue. The stage surrounded with white background will display colors of flag and symbol once they unveiled. Organizers have planned to complete the entire proceedings before 7:00 PM. Other arrangements and highlights of the launch of party function are: The popular singer Nagur Babu and Tv anchor Pragati are hosting the event. Events are planned to start with a dance program by white dress adorned men and pattu saree wearing women to dance with the tune of Vandemataram from Shankar Baba Zindabad. Folk artists from various districts including Adilabad, Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram perform folk dances. Family members of the actor brothers are seated at a special block ear marked for them. It is reported that over 10 lakh people arrived at the place. Separate galleries were arranged for old people, physically challenged persons and the press. No VIP passes are issued. About 3000 police persons are taking care of security arrangements at the venue. Additionally special police forces are kept ready for encountering any untoward incidence. They are also arranged 8 ambulances and few medical camps to meet any urgent requirements of first aid.
