More news →'Veedu Maamoolodu Kaadu' in final schedule
Over 90 per cent talkie and canning of two songs were complete for 'Veedu Maamoolodu Kaadu' directed by Ravisharma, presented by Sri Kalpana Arts and produced by Bodda Ashok Yadav and Pakam Narasimha Reddy on the banner of Sri Dinesh Brothers with Rishi, Samrat as heroes and Gopika as heroine and Bhanuchander playing a key role. The final schedule of the film which began on April 20 would continue till the first week of May in which some scenes and the remaining four songs would be shot. Director Ravi Sharma says, 'Samrat loves a girl and Rishi kidnaps her. After kidnap, Rishi falls in love with that girl. Samrat tries to release his lover from Rishi. Both of them try to win the love of that girl in their own style making that each of the heroes are not ordinary fellows.' SA Rajkumar is providing tunes for the movie and Mumaith Khan is shaking her legs in an item song. The producers are making efforts to release the film in June.
'Veedu Maamulodu Kaadu' in re-recording
Directed by Ravisharma and produced by Boddam Ashok Yadav and Pasham Narasimha Reddy on the banner of Sri Dinesh Brothers, 'Veedu Maamoolodu Kaadu' with Rishi, Samrat and Gopika in the lead, had completed its shooting recently and is now busy in re-recording. While Rishi is playing an out and out mass character, Samrat is playing the role of a college student. SA Rajkumar scored five melodious tunes for the movie. Of them, an item song choreographed on Rishi and Mumaith Khan in Dhola-ri-Dhani would remain a highlight. There was a positive response to the audio which was released into the market recently. The producers are making efforts to release the film in the third week of August. Bhanuchander, MS Narayana, Babumohan, Ali, Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Mumaith Khan, Rekha, Abhinayasri, Devicharan and others are in the cast. Lyrics are by Veturi, Bhaskarabhatla and Abhinaya Srinivas, camera is by Vasu, editing is by Nandamuri Hari, while action is by Ram-Laxman.
'Veedu Maamulodu Kaadu' completes shooting
The shooting of 'Veedu Maamoolodu Kaadu' produced by Ashok Yadav and Narasimha Reddy on the banner of Dinesh Brothers introducing Ravi Sharma as director with Rishi, Samrat and Gopika in the lead was completed with the shooting of some patchwork involving AVS and Prasadbabu at a private house in Film Nagar on August 25. With this the shooting of the film was completely wrapped up. Producer Ashok Yadav says, 'SA Rajkumar scored melodious tunes for the movie and the audio which was released into the market is receiving a positive response. Presently re-recording is in progress. We are planning to release the film in the third or fourth week of September.' Editing is by Nandamuri Hari, camera is by Vasu while fights are by Ram-Lakshman.
'Veedu Maamulodu Kaadu' in DTS mixing
Presented by Sri Kalpana Arts and produced by Boddam Ashok Yadav on the banner of Sri Dinesh Brothers introducing Ravisharma as director, 'Veedu Maamulodu Kadu' with Rishi, Samrat and Gopika in the lead had completed its shooting recently. The film has different elements including comedy, entertainment and mass elements and was made to attract all classes of audiences including family audiences. While Rishi is playing the role of a dada who settles land and real estate disputes, another hero Samrat is donning the role of a college student, while the heroine is playing the role of a student who comes to the city from a village backdrop. SA Rajkumar scored melodious tunes to all the songs. There is a very good response to the audio which was released into the market from the public. The producer is making efforts to release the film in October as a Dasara gift.
Aditya Om to play hero in 'Veedi Jimmada'
A film with Aditya Om and Mounika in the lead was planned by MA Rajkumar on the banner of Manasa Art Movies, under the direction of Balu. Producer says, 'We are considering the title of the film as 'Veedi Jimmada'. We will launch the regular shooting from the second half of August. The film would have call centre in its backdrop and would be made as a complete entertainer. We will take up shooting in Hyderabad, Araku and Visakhapatnam.' Story is by Manasa Art Movies, lyrics are by Chandrabose and Anderi, music is by Vandemataram Srinivas, while E Prasada Rao is the presenter.

Despite four other movies hitting the marquee this season, Veeru Potla is damn sure about 'Eedu Gold Ehe' striking gold. In this exclusive interview to IndiaGlitz, the writer-director says that the film is far from run-of-the-mill.In a weekend full of releases, what is 'Eedu Gold Ehe' offering the audience? Is it a formula film or a fresh idea?Of late, the audience has become more entertainment-seeking. Facing worries of various kinds, they are coming to theatres to watch sheer entertainment. I don't find fault with them. My strength lies in dishing out entertainment. 'Eedu Gold Ehe' is not a routine story. It's a new story told in a new way. I am satisfied that I have made a refreshing film. I can't tell anything about the story line because whatever little revealed might turn out to be a spoiler. There are twists, thrill and excitement in the movie.How is the comedy different from what we get to see on a usual day?Although there is comedy frame after frame, there is no separate comedy track as such. All the comedy is situational and story-related. Even action scenes are part of the story. There are four songs in total. There are two songs in each of the halves. There are very good character artistes and comedians in Tollywood. The comedy by Bharath and Vennela Kishore is very hilarious. The film, in short, is a laughing feast.What is Sunil up to?This is an apt character for Sunil I have been friends with him for many years now. He is an 'Ajatha Shatruvu' who has no enemies. I wouldn't talk about Sunil's two shades in the movie because that would kill the thrill.Does the film have any inspiration?I can't say this or that one is the inspiration, specifically. There is no specific incident that has inspired me. I might have been inspired by a range of movies. But I can say with all confidence that this is my idea in toto.Films haven't been coming regularly from you. What is the reason?After 'Doosukeltha', I had planned a huge multi-starrer with Venkatesh and Ravi Teja. 14 Reels was to produce it. After the story was ready, the project got shelved due to some reasons. I later planned to pull off another project with another hero. Even that couldn't be brought into existence due to some factors. There won't be a gap of this kind any more.Did you feel bad that your plans were upset?I felt that everybody has their own calculations. Rather than feel sorry that they didn't give me an opportunity, I believe my time wasn't good. I came to the conclusion that, maybe, I didn't prepare a good script.Wasn't time good? Do you believe in fatalism? I believe in God. I don't think about astrology. I don't seek favours from God. I ask of him to give me the strength to face adversity. If our attempt is sincere and our determination strong, we can achieve what we have set out for. God will give us victory.What is your forthcoming project?I will talk about my next film after the release of 'EGE'. Me, Sunil, Anil Sunkara are going to do films and that's sure.
