Director of very good standing in Telugu films Veera Shanker intends to take up his dream project of his life - a historical film on Nizam dynasty. This historical film in Telugu will be made on par with the Hollywood films Gladiator and Brave Heart says the eminent director. Veera Shanker given a moderate hit in Kannada 'Namma Basava' starring Puneeth Rajkumar and Gowri Munjal has come back again to direct Kannada film 'Anthu Inthu Preethi Banthu'. The historical film on Nizam dynasty dates back to late 40's. Director Veera Shanker is working on the script referring 150 books from last one year. He is roping in Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu to play the lead in this Rs.20 crore budget film. Veera Shanker a long time associate to Kodi Ramakrishna directed films like 'Halo I Love You, Prema Kosam, Vijayaramaraju, Kutumba Shanker' in Telugu. A class mate of actor Srikanth the prominent director in Telugu hails from Raichur district of Karnataka.
Veena Mallik Injured In Thailand
Bollywood stars are no less when it comes to professionalism. Katrina Kaif was injured during the shooting of her movie but she continues to her shoot after injury. And now Bollywood hot actress Veena Malik has joined the list of Bollywood actresses who injured herself by giving their best and now Bollywood hot actress Veena Malik has just proved her dedication towards work for her upcoming Kannada movie “Silk Sakkath Hot Maga” in Thailand. Veena, while shooting for the song tore her toe nail and it started bleeding profusely. The doctor was called on sets immediately and Veena's foot was bandaged. Filming in Thailand has been halted for several hours to allow Veena to recover. It’s a known fact she gives her heart and soul while filming a movie. Veena Malik said, “Being injured is not a new thing for me but this one was little bit tough for me because the song needs a romantic feeling and getting injured while filming the song it was really painful and difficult. Thailand is a very beautiful place I love it.” It seems that Malik is leaving no stone unturned to make sure her movie rings the bell at the box office. Veena is also preparing herself for her upcoming Bollywood “The City That Never Sleeps” which is produced by Satish Reddy.
Veena Malik Completed Her Movie Song
Bollywood bombshell Veena Malik has wrapped up the shooting of her upcoming Kannada movie “Silk Sakkath Maga” song in Thailand. The makers are happy that the Veena canned the film within schedule after she got injured on movie set while shooting for the song. Her ankle got twisted which tore her toe nail and it started bleeding profusely. She refuse to take rest and continued to shoot after having bandage on her feet. She is playing a character of Southern star Silk Smitha which is based on true story. Thailand is a very beautiful place where Veena was seen filming intimate scene with her co-star Akshay in Bikini at beach. Veena Malik said, “I am very happy that I completed my song on schedule after getting injured on my foot. It was very difficult for me to shoot as it was a painful movement. It’s not a big deal for me as I consider myself to be a super women and nobody can stop me. After getting injured also I am preparing for my upcoming Bollywood movie “The City That Never Sleeps” which is produced by Satish Reddy.”
Veena Mallik Comes in a Procession
Pakistani actress Veena Mallik on Friday came to Kapali Theatre in a procession and watched the first show of her debut film 'Silk - Sakkath Hot Maga' with the audience. Veena is in Bangalore for the past few days for the promotion and release of her first film 'Silk'. On Friday Veena Mallik was brought in a procession from Gandhi Statute to Kapali Theatre where the film opened to housefull shows. Veena long with hero Akshay and other came in an open vehicle and lot of fans welcomed her in Kapali Theatre. After her arrival Veena watched the film with the audience at the Kapali theatre. Veena said she was very much excited and thrilled to watch the film with the audience.
Veera Shanker to direct 'Veera'

The shooting of the film will start on the eve of the festival Vijayadasami.

Director Veera Shakar who directed the film 'Gudumba Shankar' with Pawan Kalyan as the leading man is planning his next film. Madhavan and Jagapathi Babu will be doing the main characters in the film. Jagapathi Babu completed the shooting of the superstar Rajnikant's bilingual movie 'Kathanayakudu' recently. He has a good role in the Telugu version of the movie.
