More news →'Vennela' Kishore boomerangs with 'Indumathi'
The first movie for Kishore was 'Vennela' featuring Raja and Parvathi Melton in the lead. The character Khadar played by the actor was widely praised and impressed the audience. Post the movie, various offers flooded the actor but he was unable to take them up due to his prior commitments in his former profession. After a gap of 2-years Kishore is now back to acting with a role in Harsha Reddy's 'Indumathi'. This suspense thriller movie is getting ready for release at the end of November.
'Pagale Vennela' talkie completes shoot
Directed and produced by CV Reddy on the banner of CV Arts Pvt Ltd with Sivabalaji and Mythili in the lead, 'Pagale Vennela' had completed the talkie part recently. Speaking on the occasion, director-cum-producer CV Reddy says, 'I was able to complete the shooting of talkie with the cooperation from all the unit members. We shot the comedy track under the direction of Relangi Narasimha Rao and all of them have come in a fantastic manner. There are four songs and two poems which are quite situational. Penned by Suddala Ashok Teja, both the poems were rendered by Gummadi Gopalakrishna and were shot on Tanikella Bharani. We are planning to shoot a song on Raghubabu, Jayaprakash Reddy and Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam at Film City between October 5 and 7. Our unit will proceed to Thailand on October 17 to can three more songs.' Relangi Narasimha Rao says, 'The film shoot which was completed in a single schedule spanning 32 days has come out with a good quality.'
'Pagale Vennela' returns from Thailand
The unit of 'Pagale Vennela' directed and produced by CV Reddy on the banner of CV Movies Pvt Ltd with Sivabalaji and Mythili in the lead had returned from Thailand recently after canning three songs penned by Veturi, Kaluva Krishnasai and Suddala Ashok Teja under the choreography of Swarnababu. Director cum producer CV Reddy says, 'It is the story of a youth who dream of celebrating his honeymoon abroad. What kind of incidents that occurred during the period is the subject. As the story demanded, we canned three songs in the beautiful locales of Thailand, Bangkok and Matthai between November 8 and 16. With this we have wrapped up the shooting. The film has a right mix of entertainment and love. We are primarily concentrating on entertainment and we are sure that the film would attract all classes of audiences. Our confidence was doubled after watching the rushes. Presently re-recording work is in progress. The first copy would be ready by November-end. We are planning to release the film in December first week.' He further says, 'As the film is basically an entertainer, almost all the comedians in the Telugu film industry are working in this filmy. Each frame in the scene would make the audiences laugh. The police scenes in the combination Jayaprakash Reddy and Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam would remain a highlight. Vandemataram Srinivas gave melodious tunes to all the songs. And the film would not only good to listen but would be a feast to eyes on screen.' Brahmanandam, Sunil, Tanikella Bharani, MS Narayana, Mallikarjuna Rao, Venumadhav, Raghubabu, Chitram Sreenu, Sana, Rajitha are in the cast. Dialogues are by Marudhuri Raja, cinematography is by C Vijaykumar, comedy direction is by Relangi Narasimha Rao, story, screenplay, direction and producer is CV Reddy.
Shooting of 'Punnami Vennela' ends
The shooting of 'Punnami Vennela' produced by Dr V Kusuma S Rao on the banner of Vijayasai Creations and directed by Krishna Mamidi with Vasu and Varshini as hero and heroines was completed recently. Director Krishna Mamidi says, 'The movie has film industry in its backdrop. The hero is an assistant director. He always dreams of becoming a director. He comes across a girl and falls in love with her. Despite financial problems he makes her a heroine. Will he revealed his love or not is the subject? There are five songs and four big songs in the film and Sundaran JV gave melodious tunes to all the songs. We will release the audio very soon and it was planned to release the film in December.
'Itlu Nee Vennela' to hit screen in June third week
Directed by Mamidi Krishna and produced Dr Kusuma Rao on the banner of Vijayasai Creations 'Itlu Nee Vennela' with Vasu and Varshini in the lead is ready for release in the third week of June. Producer says, 'Varshini is making her debut as heroine, while Vasu is playing the hero in our movie. Though the lovers separate due to certain circumstances, there should be some honesty in the love but it should not lead to suicides or anarchy. The film will have film industry in its backdrop.' Director says, 'Though novices, both Vasu and Varshini understood their characters well and gave fantastic performance. There are a total of nine songs and Sundar J scored music for the flick. The audio is getting a very good response. Like the meaningful songs, the film would also be quite meaningful. As far as possible we tried to mould the film in an impressive way.'
'Itlu Nee Vennela' on July 25
The film itlu Nee Vennela has completed all formalities and is now ready to hit the screens on July 25. Mamidi Krishna is the director and Smt. Dr. Kusuma Rao is the producer. The film is about love and life. The film shows that love is only a part of life and not life in itself. The film will show how the recent acts of frustration by jilted lovers are not correct. Vasu and Varshinia are the lead actors. MS Narayana, Kondavalasa, Gundu Hanumantha Rao, Chittibabu, Gautham Raju, Apoorva, Allari Subhashini and others are in the star cast. JA Sundar is the music director.
