Superstar Mahesh Babu has adopted two villages, each in two Telugu states and at that time it is criticised that he adopted it as more publicity for Srimanthudu movie. And now, on May 8th he visited Burripalem, which triggered debate that this is another publicity for Brahmotsavam. Responding on the same, Mahesh said, "My brother in law came up with the plan of adopting Burripalem while Srimanthudu shoot is going on. I didn't announced it to public because people will think its a publicity strategy. Even now, I've visited the village to kick start development but not for Brahmotsavam publicity. Come after two years, to see how I will develop the village". That should clear the air over remarks that his 'adoption' is a publicity game.
Village Belle turns Ghost to be Actress!
Theatrical trailer of much-awaited 'Abhinetri' starring Tamanna and Prabhudeva in lead roles have ample fun elements and thrills. Prabhudeva, a choreographer, marries a village belle Tamanna and starts living together in Mumbai. He comes to know Ruby, an aspiring actress, had breathed her last in the house they were staying even before fulfillment of her dream. Thereafter, Tamanna gets possessed by the ghost Ruby and she is being used to fulfill her dream. The promo gives a glimpse of Tamanna and Prabhudeva's stunning dance moves. This horror-comedy releasing on October 7th certainly excites the movie buffs with the trailer. Seems like, Tamanna, Prabhudeva, Director Vijay and Kona Venkat have a winner in the hand.
A Village Girl For Charan!
As per the buzz in film circles, Ram Charan and Sukumar are going to cast a big surprise with their combo project. Earlier the names of Raashi Khanna and Keerthy Suresh were doing rounds as the leading lady of their collaboration but beautiful Malayalam actress Anupama Parameswaran has reportedly roped in finally.As the combo of Sukumar and Charan has already been confirmed as a village based love story, they were hunting for a girl who could look a perfect village belle. Keerthy Suresh was an obvious choice because of her image and Raashi too was reportedly called for an audition.In the end, Anupama has become the lucky girl. This is a huge project for her as it could be the potential one for her to hit the road of stardom. Anupama has already played a village belle in Trivirkam's 'A..Aa' and her next film 'Shathamanam Bhavathi' too is situated in a village backdrop.On the other hand, this is yet another experiment or courageous decision by Charan to work with a not so popular Malayalam actress. It may be noted that Charan has worked with only established actresses post Magadheera. Anupama's perfect looks and charm must have cast a spell on this mega hero, who is on the path of reinventing himself and shed the 'mass hero' tag.Anupama is also rumored to act as one of the heroines in NTR's film with Bobby.
Poorna turns village belle in Ammay!
Actress Poorna will be next seen as a village belle in the upcoming horror entertainer Ammayi. The film also stars Varalakshmi and Vinay in the lead. Elaborating on her role, Poorna revealed that she will appear as Vinay's wife--a naughty village girl. The actress also said that she is getting lots of offers from horror genre after signing Ammayi. However, in reality, Poorna is actually terrified of spooky film.
Mahesh Babu to adopt Siddhapuram village
Superstar Mahesh Babu on Monday revealed that he will be adopting Siddhapuram village in Telangana as part of the initiative to give back to the society, inspired from the reel story of his latest Telugu blockbuster "Srimanthudu". "After much thought @KTRTRS garu and myself have chosen to adopt Siddhapuram village of Kottur mandal in Mahabubnagar district (sic)," Mahesh posted on his Twitter page. It was at the behest of Telangana Minister for Panchayatraj, Rural Development and Information Technology K.T. Rama Rao that Mahesh Babu decided to adopt a village. In "Srimanthudu", Mahesh Babu played the heir of a multi-millionaire, who adopts his family's village and sets out on a journey to transform it.

Mahesh Babu starrer “Brahmotsavam” is progressing at brisk pace in Ramoji Film City under the direction of ‘Srimanthudu’ fame director Koratala Siva. Makers are not compromising with the quality of the movie and spending huge amount to make the movie grand. According to the latest update, recently art department of the movie has erected a huge lavish set of village which look alike a small village of Andhra Pradesh. Makers are planning to shot few crucial scenes in this lavish set which is said to be costing in few crores. The movie starring Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, Pranitha Subhas, Sathyaraj, Jayasudha, Revathi and others. Prasad V Potluri is producing the movie under the banner of PVP cinema whereas the music is scored by Mickey J Meyer.
