Villan cameramen Santosh Sivan and V. Manikandan together nominated for Best Cinematography Award at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards, which will be held in Australia on December 2nd. India had received three nominations, including three Marathi films for the fourth annual Asia Pacific Screen Awards. Though the film is disaster at the box office, Cinematography of Santosh Sivan and V. Manikandan was admired even by all the critics. Marathi film Vihir, which is produced by Amitabh Bachchan was also competing in the same category with Villan Queensland government, Australia initiated Asia Pacific Screen Awards in collaboration with UNESCO and International Federation of Film Producers’ Associations.
Tollywood Villain And Heroine move in together
Tolywood villain Rahul Dev and actress Mugdha Godse who have been dating each other for some time took their relationship to next level. According to reports from Bollywood media sources, the couple has started living together in Andheri area of Mumbai. Rahul Dev and Mugdha Godse have been in a relationship with each other for quite sometime and even appeared together in a film. The couple admitted their relationship few months back The 47 year old actor worked in all south Indian languages and later stepped into Bollywood movies. Rahul's first wife died of cancer in 2009.Recently, the couple were seen as participants on famous reality show, Power Couple. At a time when there are stories of several break ups in Bollywood this news comes as pleasant to fans.
Mass Villain for Class Hero
Tamil actor Aadhi Pinisetty, who played the massy villain character in Allu Arjun's 'oora mass' movie 'Sarrainodu', has reportedly been roped in to fight a class hero like Nani in his new film. Post the success of Sarrainodu, Aadhi is heard to have been flooded with offers but he seems to be choosing projects very carefully. It is heard that he has been offered a meaty role in Nani's new film but it can't be confirmed as villain role. To be penned by noted writer Kona Venkat, this yet-to-be-titled film will be directed by debutante Siva, who has worked as an assistant to Ram Gopal Varma. Nani is currently busy with the shooting of 'Nenu Local', which is expected to be wrapped up by November. The shooting of this new film also starring Aadhi is scheduled to commence from December. DVV Danayya and MVV Satyanarayana might jointly produce this project, which will be shot mostly abroad. More details are awaited.
Katamarayudu Villain Revealed
Power Star Pawan Kalyan's 'Katamarayudu' is being made as an action and family entertainer with Rayalaseema backdrop. It is a common practice North Indian actors or actors from other languages are roped in as the main villains in top heroes films.'Katamarayudu', however, may not be missing Telugu nativity in such a way top character artist of Tollywood, Rao Ramesh was chosen for the role of main villain of the film. The actor revealed that he had used Rayalaseem dialect in an interesting role of the film. On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan will be seen as the big brother among four brothers in this film. The makers have informed that the first teaser of the film will be out on new year's day. Shruti Haasan sports female lead. Music of the film was composed by Anup Rubens. Dolly has directed the film on North Star Entertainment. March 29 has been locked as the release date of the movie.
Villain's new tune
Actor Charanraj, a popular baddie on big screen, is currently busy producing, directing and playing the lead role in his next movie Pudhusa Irukku. What's interesting is that the actor has composed music for the movie and has recorded six songs set to tunes by himself. Speaking about his experiences composing music, Charanraj says, 'I have a passion for music since my childhood. I know to play various instruments and always listen to good music. I am thrilled to have composed music for my movie, which has come out well. It's for the audience to listen to it and appreciate my efforts
Villain in Vijay’s next revealed
Produced by Dr.K.Ganesh under Prabhu Deva Studios banner, DEVI(L) is titled as Abhinetri in Telugu and Two in One in Hindi. This horror flick has created huge expectations thanks to the lead role played by Prabhu Deva, who is making a comeback after years. Bollywood’s leading choregrapher Farah Khan’s cameo and Hollywood Script-Writer Paul Aaron’s presence as Co-Writer have already piqued the curiosity of film buffs. Directed by Vijay, DEVI(L) also has Tamanaah and Sonu Sood in important roles. The latest revelation from the team is the villain role played by Abijith Paul, brother of Amala Paul. “It all happened when my brother-in-law Director Vijay asked me to play the villain in DEVI(L). Quite excited, I immediately agreed to do the role. I didn’t feel nervous on the first day of my shoot because I knew most of the crew members,” says Abijith. “It is important to have a flexible body, especially during the filming of fight scenes, and my workshops made it easy. My sister Amala Paul is my greatest inspiration. I admire her way of choosing the scripts! Not only a sister, she also acts as a better teacher for me, especially in the field of acting,” says the young villain of DEVI(L), Abijith.
