Vinayak to direct Raviteja
Raviteja is one among the mass heroes who came up in the Telugu film industry with a lot of hard work. In the beginning of his career, he played roles like a friend of a hero and other such small-time roles. He became a hero with 'Nee Kosam'. However, he got a good break with the film 'Idiot' directed by Puri Jagannath and earned a star image. He played as hero in several other hit films after that. Now this mass hero is going to play in a film with a rare combination. Young and sensational director VV Vinayak, who started his career successfully with 'Aadi' and rewrote the Telugu film industry records with 'Tagore' is now going to direct Raviteja for his next flick, according to reliable information. Yet another interesting point to note here is that glamorous heroine Trisha is playing opposite Raviteja in that movie, the sources said. Hence the film would be a definite rare combo with Vinayak, Raviteja and Trisha.
Vinayak says no more experiments
'Yogi' was a bitter experience for VV Vinayak. Apart from getting flak for his film, he was also credited with disappointing Prabhas' fans. But now he says he will stay off experimentation. Given that Telugu audience are more or less decided about the kind of films they would like to watch, it is not very easy to tell a story in a different way. This, director Vinayak had learnt the hard way. So in his forthcoming film Krishna, he has taken every care to show Ravi Teja in a completely mass character. He promises total entertainment and loads of action.
Vinayak and Aditya have a film each in the pipeline
Just like the actors, directors too are busy trying to finalize their projects these days. News is that VV Vinayak who had directed Aadi with NTR, is likely to do a film with him again. Then there is V N Aditya who made films such as Manasanta Nuvve, is gearing up to cast Rahul (Happy Days) as the lead in his film. We will keep you posted as we get more news from both the camps.
Vinayak hits a hattrick with stars
Success spawns more success. Looks like that is apt for VV Vinayak. He has just had a hit with Ravi Teja's Krishna and the industry is abuzz with the news of various projects that he could be directing with not one, but three stars, including the megastar himself. There are rumours that 'Adhinayakudu' could be directed by Vinayak. However, no official confirmation has been made from the megastar's camp. Then, it is now more or less confirmed that he will be directing Mahesh soon. Mahesh is said to have given his nod to the script that Vinayak had taken to him. Then, here's the latest buzz from industry insiders. Kodali Naani is among the favourite producers of NTR. As for Vinayak and NTR, they have both worked together in Aadi. So the threesome, it seems, will be coming together to make a film that is likely to go the floors this summer. It is being assumed that the film could be released towards the end of this year.
Vinayak-NTR combo on regular shoot from Aug 28
The regular shooting of a film directed by VV Vinayak, presented by Kodali Nani and produced by Vallabnaneni Vamsimohan on the banner of with NT Rama Rao as hero and Ileana as heroine would begin from August 28. It may be mentioned here that this was the second film in the combination of NTR and Ileana after 'Rakhee'. It is learnt that the shooting would begin with the picturisation of hero's introduction song. The combination scenes of hero and heroine would be done by the end of September. Director says, 'While both my films with Tarak like 'Aadi and Samba' had action in their backdrop, this film would have love as its subject. I asked NTR to put up some weight for the film.' The producer is making efforts to complete the film as soon as possible and release it by Sankranthi next year. Music is by Devisri Prasad.
