Finally Mansoor Ali Khan's Ennai Par Yogam Varum will hit the screens. The movie produced by Mansoor Ali Khan was completed long back. Lack of theatres following Sivaji's release meant Ennai Paar Yogam Varum still lying in the cans. Finally Mansoor Ali Khan has managed to find theatres for releasing his film. According to Mansoor Ali Khan, the movie would be released on 6 July. It is not a mega budget movie but a movie for the masses'. Politician-turned-actor Thol Thirumavalavan appears in a song in the movie. Mansoor Ali Khan plays the lead role in the film.
'Yuga Yugale Sagali' complete
The beauty from West Bengal Megha Ghosh and native boy Yashas starring 'Yuga Yugagale Sagali' a musical love story has completed shooting and dubbing work. The assistant to crazy star Ravichandran for a long time Shashankraj is trying his luck at direction independently from this film. In the interiors of Karnataka and hilly region the shooting of this film has been held says Shashankraj. This is going to give new experience for the audience opines confident looking Shashankraj. Producer B.U.Vasanthkumar is also playing a role in this film with Alisha, Ananthnag, Rangayana Raghu, Sharat Lohitashva, Padmaja Rao, BV Radha, Ninasam Ashwath, Ananthavelu, Roopa Prabhakar, Shoba Shivalingaiah, Sharan, Kamala and others. National repute music director Hamsalekha has scored the music for this newcomer team and also penned the lyrics. Malavalli Saikrishna has penned the dialogues. Kaurava Venkatesh and Different Danny have handled the stunts.
It is 'Chanda' vs 'Yuga'
The release controversy between 'Chanda' and 'Yuga' both starring Vijay has reached a new level on Tuesday morning when Akila Karnataka 'Dhuniya' Vijay Abhimanigala Sangha staged a protest on the attitude of 'Chanda' producer cum director S.Narayan. Director Narayan has not invited Vijay for dubbing of his portion to 'Chanda' and this has irked the fans of Vijay. In addition to it director Narayan is breaking the gentleman agreement that he would release 'Chanda' only after 50 days of 'Yuga' screening has reached the boiling stage. Senior director cum producer S.Narayan is hell bent on releasing 'Chanda' on November 15 but a week earlier 'Yuga' is releasing. The 'Dhuniya' Vijay fans association shouted slogans and sat on Dharna at the busy Kamakshipalya bus stand blocking the traffic for one hour. Vijay also joined the dharna of his fans association and condemned the dubbing done to his portion for 'Chanda' film. It is a fight between senior and junior in the field of cinema. Vijay is also sitting on hunger strike on the day of release of his film 'Chanda'. Reputed director cum producer S.Narayan is of the firm opinion that he has not violated any agreement. "The slow pace of 'Yuga' shooting and post production of it has locked them in problem. I am disciplined in my profession right from the beginning of my career ", says intelligent producer and director S.Narayan.
Film Chamber angry with Yagam director
Navdeep, Bhumika, Kim Sharma starrer ‘Yagam’ has recently hit the silver screens. Yagam has been directed by Arun Prasad and the film chamber members are angry towards the director of the film since the film has a dialogue that is hurting the biggies who had participated against the piracy. The movie has one dialogue delivered by Ajay saying that “The directors and producers are copying English movies and making Telugu films. So there’s nothing wrong watching a piracy movie”. If remade, it could be NTR in and as 'Yugandhar'
Rumours are rife that 'Yugandhar' or 'Don' as it was called in Hindi is likely to be remade in Telugu. Like we all know, 'Don' has been remade in Hindi with Shah Rukh Khan, it has been remade in Tamil as Billa with Ajith and now it could be remade in Telugu with NTR. If the industry sources are to be believed, VV Vinayak could be directing the film and Kodali Nani is likely to produce it. Though Vinayak is tight lipped about it for now, it is being said that the same would be announced soon and that NTR would begin shooting for the film in summer.
