More news →Emraan on kissing: What I do, newcomers can't
He has kissed almost all his leading ladies on the screen and it has earned him the tag of a serial kisser in Bollywood. Emraan Hashmi says newcomers may give kissing scenes, but they can't compete with him. "Someone asked me that the new kids started doing (kissing) it on the screen, but I feel very foolish to say this, but it's more evolved after years of practice...," said the actor for "Murder", "Zeher" and "Woh Lamhe". "The things what I do these amateurs can't do.. I know they mean well, I know they put in their hard work... but I have like 1000 hours of experience compared to like 10 hours of theirs," added the 35-year-old.
Udita Goswami is back
When you are launched in a Bhatt movie opposite none other than John Abraham, you instantly become a hot property. An escalation in one's career is pretty much on the cards and it is expected that you become a part of some reputed projects. Udita Goswami too had a good beginning with Pooja Bhatt directed PAAP where she had John Abraham for company. The film got her decent critical response and Bollywood was blessed with a new-age young woman. However, Udita chose to play it slow and between 2004 till date, she has appeared in only four films as leading lady - PAAP, ZEHER, AKSAR and AGGAR. Except for AGGAR, each of her three films worked at different levels but Udita was still not seen on a signing spree. "Well, I had a certain thought process around signing only those films which had me in a central role. However, this didn't quite work because how many women-centric films are actually made today? Guess, I had to have a change in mindset and thankfully now I have revisited my priorities. Yes, I have become flexible in my choice of roles but am still particular about the banners I sign and people I work with." Is this the reason why she suddenly finds herself as a part of two Sunny Deol projects? "Yes, I am working in FOX and THE MAN - both of which are action films with Sunny Deol in the lead. Both films give me a chance to do something that I haven't done before. In one of the films I get to play a spy and have an intelligent look to me. I wear business suits along with specs and the role requires me to go much beyond just performing stunts", reveals Udita. "In another film I have a glamorous part to enact as I play the role of a publishing house owner", informs Udita, "So you see I am required to carry off different personas and I am happy with the way my new innings has begun."
Raaz 2 Scariest flick on the make
"If at all I hadn't watched Grudge-2, idea of brimming up with Raaz-2 wouldn't have stricken me" says Mohit Suri. With his unique panache, he churned out finest piece of works Awarappan, Woh Lamhe, Kalyug and Zeher. Hopping from those emotional themes, we have this auteur gearing up with Raaz-2. Well, Mohit Suri utters it's not a sequel to Bhatt's Raaz that swayed chilling everyone's spines before 6 years. Adding on more, he continues that unlike most of the clich©d horrors where ghost seeks vengeance of mortal entity, Raaz-2 has something more to offer than it. The flick has Imran Hasmi, Kangana Ranaut and Shekar Suman's son Adhyayan Suman in lead. Fine! Not just Mohit, but the entire crewmembers sing appraisals of Adhyayan's top-notched performance. According to the sources, Imran Hasmi plays the role of a painter while Kangana is a modern Indian woman and Adhyayan takes on the role of a documentary filmmaker and an atheist. These characterizations may let you feel there isn't anything so peculiar, but again we have Mohit saying it would be off a great surprise while seen on the screen.
Shamita Shetty to be seen in an item song
Remember the Sharara sharara number from Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai? Well what about it? Think about the song and whose picture comes to your mind instantly? Shamita Shetty of course! The song had become an instant hit! In fact Shamita and Sharara sharara'are synonymous. Such was its popularity! The gorgeous actress is now ready to cast her spell on the audience once again. This time for the desi version of Harry Potter called Harry Puttar. This children's film will have Shamita dancing to a song that promises to be appealing to the kids. For Shamita it's a privilege to be a part of the children's film. The actress has been an avid Harry Potter fan and is glad to be a part of the desi version. Says Shamita, "I said yes to this very special track because it was a children's film. It was something special!" Shamita made her debut as an actress in Mohabattein, produced by Yashraj Films. A Chopra favourite, they roped her for an item number in Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai. Interestingly the songs that Shamita has done till date have all been chartbusters. The Woh lamhe from Zeher that had Shamita with Emraan Hashmi had turned an instant rage. The director of Harry Puttar hopes that the song that Shamita is doing will top the list too.

Tushar Jalota victimized
Tushar Jalota, hero of Mukesh Bhatt's latest release Showbiz, lost his brand new lap top. Rues Tushar, "I had gone to JW for a meeting and while leaving, I hid my lap top under the front seat. Then I had to go to meet somebody near Fame Adlabs. I parked the car on the road and when I came back, my laptop was gone. It was brand new, had all my data and was well hidden. My car has central locking, still somebody managed to open the car and steal it." Tushar has spent close to 5 years working as an assistant director under the ever watchful eyes of his mentor, Mahesh Bhatt. He has worked on six films which include Gunaah, Saaya, Murder, Tumsa Nahin Dekha, Zeher and Kalyug.
