100 Shows in 100 places

One more first to the credit of Kannada cinema history! Nowhere this approach is made in the Indian cinema. Writer, director and producer Prof Baraguru Ramachandrappa's off beat film with latest technology of inter cuts system in the narration of 'Ekalavya' is traveling around places to spread the message the film contains. Prof Baraguru is taking his film to nook and corner of Karnataka. 'Ekalavya' 100 shows in 100 days in town's villages and cities of the state will be screened. This is taking cinema to the people.

The quality film lovers have made arrangement to sell the tickets for the film well in advance. This system is going to assure the returns of the investment made on the film via gate collection and sponsorship says Baraguru on his new thoughts. The ultimate goal of such scheme is to reach the people with quality films.

The 'Ekalavya' Kannada film 'Yaathre' (journey) starts from 19th of this month. This will be inaugurated by Telugu film director Madhala Ranga Rao. As of now the film 'Ekalavya' will be taken to places like Bangalore, Bangalore rural, Chitradurga, Hassan, Mandya, Mysore, Chamarajanagara, Shimoga, Dharwad, Belgaum, Bijapur, Bidar, Gulbarga, Bellary and Haveri. At the home town of Baraguru Ramachandrappa Tumkur the 100 days 100 shows valedictory is planned.

Shruthi Naidu, Ragav, Sunder Raj, Master Harshith, Master Ankush, R Nagesh, Radha Ramachandra, Kashyap and others are in the cast. Devanagesh, Chandrakala Ramesh, Mallikarnuna Reddy, Anuradha, Satyananda, Pushpalatha Siddarth, Nagalakshmi Veeresh, Lakshminarayan are the joint producers of 'Abiruchi Chitra'.

Nagaraj Adhavani is the cameraman and V.Manohar has scored the music for 'Ekalavya' that has been edited by Suresh Urs.
