Three Kannada films, 'Gulabi Talkies', 'Banada Neralu', and 'Gubbachchigalu', are selected for the Indian Panorama section at IFFI Goa.
For the 2008 International Film Festival at Goa for the Indian Panorama section Kannada films 'Gulabi Talkies' of Girish Kasaravalli, 'Banada Neralu' by director Umashanker Swamy and 'Gubbachchigalu' by debutant director Abhay Simha have been selected.
25 films are screened in the Indian Panorama section from various languages. 'Putti' a documentary entry from Kannada out of 20 films selected is directed by Jacob Verghese.
Last year Indian Panorama section screened four Kannada films.
