Sandalwood fans are eagerly anticipating the 61st Filmfare Awards, with Darshan and Priyamani emerging as top contenders for Best Actor honors.
The prestigious 61st Filmfare Awards are around the corner and Sandalwood is speculating about who will win the honors this time. The south awards will be held in Hyderabad and sources say Sandalwood have awards in 10 categories just like last year. There is intense competition this year and sources said that the jury watched all the short-listed films in Santosh mini theatre until last week.
Last year, there were many good and successful films. Darshan's Kranti Veera Sangolli Rayanna, Priyamani's Charulatha, Yaare Koogadali, Anna Bond, Godfather and Katariveera Surasundarangi are said to be the films in contentions for top honours. Chitraloka predicts Darshan and Priyamani for best actors. All the nominated actors have their fingers crossed.
