Madhuri Dixit will star in Shaji N. Karun's film about painter Ravivarma, portraying his widow and muse. The movie explores Ravivarma's personal life and relationships from a female perspective.
After former miss world Yukta Mookhey, Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit is now getting a chance to play a Ravivarma model.
Madhuri is to play the female lead in the film made by Shaji N. Karun on Ravivarma. 'The film will showcase the life and relations of Ravivarma and not his works 'said the world famous director on the film. 'Madhuri will play a character of Ravivarma's widow who was so close to him and who was an inspiration for Ravivarma to create many of his famous paintings'.
The film told in the viewpoint of female counterpart on the lives of the painter will also deal with the sorrows and diffulties of individuals left astray in society. The film produced in hindi will be supported in scripting by Gulzar.
