'Krrish' is blazing guns at the Box Office. The unprecedented response from Patna to New York has left everyone dazed. But director Rakesh Roshan is also facing criticism from various quarters. Some people are of the opinion that 'Krrish' fails to touch people's hearts the way 'Koi Mil Gaya' did. Roshan Senior feels that comparisons always happen. But comparing 'Krrish' with 'Koi Mil Gaya' is like comparing Raj Kapoor's 'Sangam' with 'Awaara'. The Box Office collections according to him tell another story as 'Krrish' is all set to be the biggest blockbuster of India. He says that 'Krrish' will cross Rs 60 Crores in seven days.
Replying to the allegation that the film is too long and that the comic element in the first half is not required, Roshan justifies the old fashioned comedy by stating that when he makes a film he has to think about an audience as far and wide as Patna to US. The people living in the interiors of the country relish old fashioned comedy so he had to have it for making his film more palatable to a wider audience. As for the excessive product endorsements being plugged in the film, he is of the opinion that it happens in West all the time. And as long as the narrative isn't getting affected then what's the harm.
