Actress Kanika clarifies that acting remains her primary focus despite receiving praise for her dubbing work in the film Sivaji.
Kanika had dubbed for Shriya in Sivaji. Her voice perfectly matched that of Shriya and she received rave reviews for her work behind the screen in Sivaji.
After the super success of Sivaji, will she take up dubbing as a full time profession?
When queried, Kanika says, 'No. I have different plans'. For her,' Acting is my priority. Though after Sivaji, I got a lot of offers for dubbing, I insist that I love to act'.
Kanika is working in a handful of movies including a historical film starring Mammootty in Malayalam.
'Acting gives me immense pleasure. I would love every moment that's spending before the camera', she says.
Kanika has come a long way since her maiden venture Five Star. She is a name to reckon with in both Tamil and Telugu film industry with several powerful roles to her credit.
